I visited Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which opens before dawn. It was a wonderful scene, with the bright red autumn leaves emerging from the darkness and the sunrise illuminating the cityscape of Kyoto from the mountainside. The scenery of the theater for several hours, which was eventually dyed into the blue sky, was a masterpiece.

In Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, there are many cherry blossom viewing spots, from famous spots that everyone knows to hidden gems.
One of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots is Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a World Heritage Site known for its Shimizu stage, three-storied pagoda, and release pond.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple also holds a special visit at night, so be sure to visit it.
At the "Gion Tatsumi Bridge" in the Instagram-worthy Gion Shirakawa area, the "Gion Shirakawa Sakura Light Up" will be held with about 40 weeping cherry blossoms. There are many tea shops in the area, and you may meet maiko and geiko as you stroll around.
Don't miss the Kamogawa riverbed from the Shichijo Bridge to the Sanjo Bridge, the "Flower Corridor" in Kamogawa Park, and the "Half-Tree Road" from the Kitayama Bridge to the Kitaoji Bridge.
In the cherry blossom groves of Hirano Shrine and Haratani-en, you can also encounter rare cherry blossoms such as the yellow-flowered turmeric and the green-flowered gyoko.
