Transfer from Hiroshima Station to Senda Streetcar Depot by streetcar. At Senda Streetcar Depot you’ll find streetcars that were impacted by the atomic bomb. There you can take pictures of the impacted streetcars and enter them to learn about the history of the impacted streetcars and the red-bricked buildings. At Fukuromachi streetcar stop, alight and view trees that withstood the atomic bomb explosion in the precincts of Shirakami Shrine and in Peace Memorial Park, all while experiencing the history of Hiroshima from before the atomic bomb blast to the present day through virtual reality.

Route
→ Transfer from Hiroshima Station by streetcar to Senda Streetcar Depot, with audio guide of Hiroshima

→ Explanation of the streetcar impacted by the atomic bomb, followed by commemorative photos at the depot

→ Transfer on one of the impacted streetcars, with recorded tour explaining the bomb’s effects on locations along the route, alighting at Fukuromachi bus stop

→ Guided viewing of camphor trees that survived the blast at Shirakami Shrine

→ Guided viewing of a Chinese parasol tree that survived the blast in Peace Memorial Park

→ VR experience
