2024 (Reiwa 6) from Sunday, December 29th Taiki Town the ban on Japanese smelt fishing has been lifted at the Horokayanto Lagoon in Yasei!

[Opening period] 2024 (Reiwa 6) from December 29 (Sun) to 2024 (Reiwa 6) late February *Varies depending on ice conditions.
Opening hours: 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.
【Fishing fee】
Adult (junior high school students and older): 700 yen
Elementary school students: 300 yen

【Notes】
・We do not rent tools such as drills and fishing rods or sell bait on site.
・Temporary Toilet is installed next to the administration building. Restrooms available.
・ Because of the swamp adjacent to the sea, earthquakes (including earthquakes in distant places) If there is a possibility of a tsunami, please immediately return to your Car (sometimes even leave your luggage) and take measures to protect your life, such as evacuating to Elevated terraces.
