【Heisaburo Kondo's Birthplace】
Heizaburo Kondo, the highest authority in Japan's pharmaceutical sciences, was born in Meiji 1077 (Meiji 10) as the eldest son of the Kondo family, who ran a pharmaceutical business, and graduated from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Tokyo Imperial University. Studied in Germany for 40 years. After that, he became the chief professor of pharmacy at Tokyo Imperial University, where he left a major contribution to alkaloid research.
He became the president of the Pharmaceutical Society of 1937 (Showa 12)Japan, a member of the 1953 (Showa 28)Japan Bachelor of Science, and was awarded the 1958 (Showa 33) Order of Culture.
