⛰️ We carried out red lime spreading on Mt. Tomuraushi 🏔️
As an annual tradition to prevent hikers from getting lost, the red lime spreading on Mt. Tomuraushi was carried out by a joint team of three organizations—Hokkaido Police, Shintoku Mountaineering Association, and Shintoku Town—with a total of 16 participants!
We spread the lime at three spots: the trailhead from Kamuisankennai River toward Kamui Tenjo, the confluence at Komadori-sawa, and another location. These are places where people easily lose their way, so please exercise caution.
Also! We found bear tracks during the hike! 🐾
