Nakasendo, Tsumago juku will Held in the Cultural and Political Period Procession!

In commemoration of the start of the preservation project of Tsumago juku in Showa 43, it is now held on November 23 every year. Local residents dress up as samurai, flying legs, nihilistic monks, etc., and Reproduction the Shukuba of the Cultural and Political Era.

As in every year, 10:30 Toshima General Ground ~ 11:20 Tsumago juku (lunch break) ~ 13:25 A procession parades along the Nakasendo Road between Otsuma and Otsumagoma. Enjoy the procession while imagining the travelers who would have walked this road during the Cultural and Political Era.
