The 5th "Jotsu Mountain Castle, Castle History Walk" with a planning instructor who is irresistible for history lovers and mountain castle lovers
Mt. Kizu Castle in Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture, consists of two mountain castles, "Shimono Castle" (Dejo) and "Kamino Castle" (Honjo), and "Miyatake Sanryo Shrine" (Shinomiya-sama) = Jozu clan ancestor (fourth prince of Emperor Seiwa) is enshrined in the Halfway up. As a mountain castle, "Shimono Castle" still has remains such as curved wheels, small mouths (tiger mouths), Earthen mounds, and empty moats, and large empty moats and curved moats that are not found in the neighborhood remain. In addition, in the Yuzu area under the castle, there are many historical remains from the Warring States period, such as the ruins of the Former Residence Site and tombs of the Yuzu clan. Lecturer Morigaki, who is known for his Ranmaru siege story, will be invited to guide you around the site with a Local Regional Development Guide.
