Today, I would like to introduce Taketaro's post "Tsumagojuku in Nagano Prefecture". It is an impressive photo of a traditional Japanese house illuminated by the shining light. Located in Nagiso Town, Kiso District, Nagano Prefecture, Tsumago-juku is one of the five highways built in the Edo period. While the traditional townscape disappeared with the passage of time, we succeeded in preserving the old townscape for the first time in Japan. In recognition of these efforts, it was 1976 (Showa 51) selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The Terashita area, where the townscape preservation activities were first carried out, can be said to be the origin of Tsumago-juku. Wakihonjin Okutani, which has a hearth and allows you to experience the atmosphere of that time, was designated as an important cultural property of the country in 2001 (Heisei 13). From November to February, you can see a fantastic sight of light pouring down from the lattice. Tsumago-juku has plenty of accommodation. "Onjuku Daikichi" is a guest house that harmonizes tradition and modernity. Today, I would like to introduce "mihyaru" post "Nagano Prefecture Zenkoji's Komainu". The snow fluttering and the dignity of the Komainu dog that feels the history are impressive. "Zenkoji Temple" in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture in the Koshinetsu region is a non-sectarian temple that anyone can visit regardless of the denomination that was founded before the sect split in Japan. The main hall is designated as a National Treasure as one of the largest wooden buildings in the East Japan. In addition, the bell tower and Niomon gate were registered as national registered tangible cultural properties (buildings). The "Zenkoji Temple Opening Book" held once every seven years is a famous event as a grand ceremony of Zenkoji Temple. During the opening period, the Buddhism Flower Festival and various rituals are held. A beautiful paper cut "Mikaisho Special Goshuin" will also be distributed in limited quantities. At the Takabotchi Plateau in Nagano Prefecture, I photographed the sea of clouds spreading over the Suwa Basin and Mt. Fuji. It's a scenery that I wanted to see at least once in my life, so it's amazing to be able to see it in person.

A Japan where you can enjoy the four seasons. The autumn sunset is wonderful, but don't you think that the morning sun rises in the clear air and the autumn leaves are very nice? This is one of the photos taken while taking a dawn walk in the Shiga Highlands in Nagano Prefecture.

I went to Misyaka Pond before it was still dyed bright red. The color on the way from green to yellow and the clear pond were beautiful. Next time, I will visit at the bright red time like in the video.

◈Uchimura Kanzo Memorial Stone Church I went here on my first visit in Karuizawa. The church is simple yet artistic on the outside, and it's very solemn in the inside. As a Catholic myself, I felt that I was talking directly to God as I pray inside. This church makes me want to explore more of the beautiful architectures in Karuizawa.

◈Shiraito Falls in Karuizawa, Nagano Shiraito means "white thread" in Japanese. And, I agree that the water here looks like white threads, and it's just so relaxing to be here.

Hakubayari Onsen Hut Open-air bath From Tsugaike, we stayed in tents at Mt. Norikura and Oike Sanso, climbed Mt. Hakuba, and stayed in tents at Yari Onsen Hut. It was cloudy during the climb, but when I was in the hot spring, it was sunny and the view was superb. It relieved my fatigue all at once. I think the unpredictable achievements are the charm of traveling.

Nagano Travel I had ? soft-serve ice cream while thanking the cows at the ranch on a large site. The photo shows a coffee-flavored soft-serve ice cream ? It's a little far away, but it's a summer resort, so I take ♡ care of it every year in the summer.

I took this picture in Karuizawa, Nagano. After walking around Karuizawa the whole day with my cousins, we arrived at this beautiful pond. You have to look closely until you realize it's flipped upside down. I have a lot of great memories from Karuizawa and Nagano, spending time with my relatives. I feel like the beautiful nature of Nagano represents those beautiful memories. When I looked in the pond, I found myself smiling, appreciating the nature and the people I'm with.

Jigokudani Onsen, Nagano Prefecture I spent 6 hours to see this scene, but I thought that a monkey was always in the hot spring, so I was excited and hugged my daughter and walked along the mountain road, but I was ? shocked that no one was inside. From there, I waited a long time to somehow take a picture of the monkey entering the hot spring, but in a fraction of a second, it didn't ? come in at all.

Beautiful river and mountains at Kamikochi, Nagano. This photo was taken during the Golden week of 2017. It's spring but there's already snow around this place. If you love nature, this is one of the recommended places to visit here in Japan.

This photo was taken in May 2017 at Kamikochi in Nagano. My first impression of this place was, "it's a real-life painting". The beautiful Azusa river is surrounded by snowy mountains, and there are lots of Japanese white birch tree in the area. Since then, Kamikochi has become my favorite place in Japan. I often come here once a year before Corona happened.

Beautiful Tower/Utsukushigahara Highlands (Nagano) Utsukushigahara is often foggy, so there was a time when there were many distresses. As one of the countermeasures, the Beautiful Tower was installed, an evacuation tower equipped with a fog bell.
