The Edo Castle, once the largest fortress, was transformed into the imperial residence Kōkyo after the shogunate fell and the emperor moved to Tokyo. This location is a popular spot for tourists from all over the world. I captured this photo of the palace during a snowy twilight, when there were very few tourists around.
