We would like to introduce the rooms of the culinary inn Okujozankei Onsen Kasho Gyoen that weaves the season. There are a total of 23 guest rooms at Kamatsu Gyoen, all of which are Japanese-style suites equipped with a "forest observation bath", and you can enjoy the hot spring while enjoying the luxurious view. The hot spring is 100% free flowing from the source, and the spring quality is different from Jozankei Onsen "hydrogen carbonate spring". This spring quality is considered to be one of the three most beautiful hot springs, and it also has exfoliating and cleansing effects, so women will be especially pleased. Some rooms have terraces, so why not feel the natural breeze on your body after the hot spring? The "Kurenai" and "Ai" rooms are equipped with separate living rooms, bedrooms, and observation baths, so you can spend a luxurious time. We also have rooms with balconies and rooms that can be enjoyed by a large number of people by connecting two rooms, so you can choose according to the scene. The carefully selected interior has a modern design that uses a lot of wood in harmony with the scenery seen from the window. We will prepare an extraordinary space that will satisfy everyone and welcome you. To book a stay, please visit the official website listed in your profile. Kashogyōen, a Okujozankei Onsen Kasho Gyoen seasonal culinary inn, opened in 1989 and has been loved by many guests for a long time. In June 2022 Reiwa 4, the restaurant and lobby were expanded and reopened facing the pond. The entrance where the hotel welcomes guests is a garden surrounded by trees and plants such as todomatsu, maple, and maple, and you can enjoy an extraordinary space just by stepping inside. Kamatsu Gyoen has a total of 23 guest rooms. It is a Japanese suite room with a "forest observation bath" in all rooms. From the windows of the rooms and the observation bath, you can see the beautiful scenery of the four seasons, and it is a luxurious space surrounded by nature. The rooms at "Kurenai" and "Ai" also have a terrace. The hot spring that Kamatsu Gyoen is proud of is a hydrogen carbonate spring, which is the hot spring quality of the three great beauties, and you will feel your skin become smooth. Please enjoy it slowly while enjoying the ancient forest that spreads all over the window. In addition, the spa and treatment salon "Biyute / Bi-You-te" offers various courses such as facial décolleté treatment, body treatment, and foot hand treatment. For those who want to relax and heal their fatigue in their room, we recommend Thai traditional massage. Massage and loosen your body warmed in the hot spring in your room with a slow rhythm. There is no need to move or change clothes, so you can spend a relaxing time both physically and mentally. The restaurant was renovated and expanded in early summer 2022. Hokkaido local ingredients are made into an impressive dish by the hands of an Italian chef. The sommelier will also suggest champagne, red and white wines to match your meal. To book a stay, please visit the official website listed in your profile. Chiba Kamogawa Onsen Rian. It opened on August 8, 2022.

From your room, you can see the morning sun rising from the Pacific Ocean in front of you. The open-air bath while watching the morning sun is the best. The sunlight reflected in the water basin in front of you is also beautiful, and the sound of the wind and sea invites customers to relax. If you walk on the deck connected to the open-air bath, there is a sofa, so you can relax while looking at the sea.

"There is no large bath in Lian."

That's because I want you to spend a private and relaxing time.

An open-air bath with your favorite sake in hand...

While talking to the people I love...

Treat yourself...

We look forward to seeing you there.

Chiba Kamogawa Onsen Rian. At Rian, you can enjoy the special salt with the strong steak at dinner. All of this salt is made by hand in Katsuura and is often backordered. Salt made with seawater on the day of the full moon "Full Moon Hour". This salt impressed the board length. Please enjoy it with delicious meat. Made with seawater assembled on the day of the new moon, the "New Moon Hour" has a completely different taste from the time of the full moon. Strange, isn't it? At Lian, the new moon tick is also served to customers for tasting. Please ask the staff. There is no souvenir corner yet, but we sell this salt and the proprietress's recommended "warabi mochi" that you enjoy at check-in. This product is not for sale in the store. It is a dish that is sure to be appreciated as a souvenir! !! Warabi mochi 6pcs ¥1,800 Salt 100g ¥1,300

Chiba Kamogawa Onsen Rian. It opened on August 8, 2022.
A Japanese-style building built in the image of an old Japan inn. Gentle wood warmth, fragrance. And the sea spreads out in front of you. The water basins in front of the room and lobby reflect the moon at night and ripple with the wind, making the open-air bath at night even more wonderful. The open-air bath is just about the size of stretching your legs.
You can spend a relaxing time looking up at the sky.

At the beginning of OPENING, there were no trees between the private house and the inn, and the view was too good, but now you can only see a little outside through the gap in the vegetation at a height that does not bother the private house, and you can no longer worry about the line of sight opposite. Stay tuned for new photos. Of course, you can overlook the beautiful sea.

There are 10 rooms in total. Four of them are dining rooms. The restaurant is a private room with a view of the mountain side.

The room we are introducing today is "Tsuruun".

[ CONCEPT ]
<Auspicious pattern: Futatsumaru Ryu> × < Theme color: Blue blue>
The dragon is revered as a god of water and has deepened people's faith as a symbol of protection and fertility. The powerful "Futatsumaru Ryu" is the design motif.

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce Harumi Nozaki's post "Lights of Kurokawa Onsen in Aso". The warm light of the hot spring and the harmony of nature are superb. Kurokawa Onsen is located in Minamioguni-cho, Aso County, Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu region, which received two stars in the 2009 Michelin Green Guide Japan. "Yuakari" is a light-up event held at Kurokawa Onsen in winter. It started in 2012 and celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. The main spot for hot spring lighting is around Marusuzubashi Bridge over the Tanohara River that flows through Kurokawa Onsen. About 300 spherical "Kuri lanterns" are hung, and the fantastic scenery with tube lanterns is also lit, and it goes well with the snow. For viewing the hot spring light, we also recommend the hot spring inn where you can see the hot water. ・Kurokawa Onsen Yamabiko Ryokan You can see the Tanohara River from the corridor of the Yamabiko Ryokan. There are two types of hot springs and are popular as "double beautiful skin hot water". You can also enjoy open-air baths and various private baths. ・Historical inn Located about a 1-minute walk from Marusuzubashi Bridge, this inn has a long history dating back to the mid-Edo period. Pure Japanese-style rooms and 7 hot springs are attractive. ◆Hot water◆ 【Date】2023 will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 ~ Sunday, April 2, 2023 【Lighting time】Evening~22:00 【Participation fee】Free 【Address】Minamioguni-cho, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Event information for 2023 will be released sequentially. Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce "KSK1991FKSM" post "Snowy scenery of Ginzan Onsen". The retro cityscape illuminated by the warm streets is a beautiful piece. Ginzan Onsen is a hot spring town located in Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture in the Tohoku region, which has been selected as the "No. 1 hot spring atmosphere of the East". The nostalgic scenery of inns built from the end of the Taisho period to the early Showa period is impressive. The old-fashioned cityscape is also famous as a filming location for the drama "Oshin" and is said to have been the model for the Ghibli movie "Spirited Away". Not only in the daytime, but also in the fantastic night view with the sparkling streets, it is also popular as an Instagrammable spot. Along the river of Ginzan Onsen, there are many inns where you can enjoy the Taisho romance. Among them, we recommend the popular ryokan "Ginzan Onsen Traditional Inn Furuyamakaku", a colorless and transparent 100% free-flowing hot spring, and you can also enjoy a private open-air bath made of cypress. The registered cultural property inn "Notoya Ryokan" is a three-story wooden inn where you can feel the world view of Spirited Away. The hot springs have open-air baths and cave baths, and dishes such as Obanazawa beef and duck made with local ingredients are also attractive. For day trips, we also recommend the communal bath Shirogane-yu usage fee 500 yen and the free Waraku Foot Bath. ◆Access ◆ About 3 hours by Yamagata Shinkansen from Tokyo + 40 minutes by direct bus 【For day trips】 Parking at the "Shared Parking Lot" and "Taisho Roman Museum Mae" There is no day-trip sightseeing parking lot beyond the shared parking lot From each parking lot, take a paid bus.

A strange festival held in the early morning of winter at Kawarayu Onsen in Naganohara Town, Gunma Prefecture "Yukake Festival" One day, about 400 years after Minamoto Yoritomo discovered the hot spring, the hot spring suddenly disappeared. The villagers were exhausted, but when one of them smelled the hot springs, he smelled boiled chicken eggs. So we sacrificed the chicken and prayed, and the hot water came out again, so we all decided to celebrate. At first, we were happy to say, "Hot water, hot water," but then we all started pouring hot water on each other by saying, "It's a celebration, it's a celebration." I'm pouring hot water on a red and white kusudama with live chickens!

[English] The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has decided to apply priority measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus since last week, and Tokyo residents will have to refrain from activities for about three weeks. Due to the new coronavirus, people have been spending more and more vacations at home as "stayhome" since 2020. How do Japanese people spend their vacations? Let's take a look at it along with Japanese culture. 1 Games Japanese games have become popular all over the world due to the Corona disaster. For example, games in which you build your own room or town and interact with your friends, or games in which you run and stretch like in a gym are especially popular. Also, games that used to be board games are now being played online, expanding the possibilities of games. With the recent establishment of high schools for e-sports games as sports in Japan, it is clear that games are becoming an important content for Japan. 2 Bath time Japanese people love to take a bath in the bathtub. Many of them go on trips to hot springs during long vacations, and those who have given up on their trips due to stay-home are said to buy various bath salts in order to feel a little like they are on vacation. As a result, some companies reportedly had record sales of bath salts last year. Do you use bath salts in your country? I hope you will try them when you come to Japan. 3 Plastic models Have you ever heard of plastic models? Plastic models are dolls made of plastic, and you can assemble and paint them yourself. In Japan, they have long been sold as children's toys, but since the Corona disaster, they have become popular not only among children but also among adults. In particular, plastic models of anime are very popular. If you are ever in Japan, you might want to buy one as a souvenir. Extras There is a character that has become famous in Corona. It is "Amabie. Amabie has been appearing in books for the past 150 years as a monster that eliminates plague. Before the corona virus, Amabie was a character known only to a few people who liked yokai, but after the corona virus spread, his recognition increased mainly through social networking sites, and now he is recognized by most of the people in Japan. In the city, you can see many products with Amabie's picture on them. Please try to look for them. Our school also offers online classes. In addition to classes, we also offer online yoga, online origami classes, and other fun activities. If you are interested, please contact us and we will explain the school via zoom. 開智国際日本語学校(Kaichi International School of Japanese)
Nov. 15, 2021
[English/Japanese] This time, I'd like to continue my introduction to manners. This time, it's about manners when using leisure facilities. Manners at amusement parks At our Japanese language school, we have field trips several times a year. The locations include amusement parks, zoos, and other facilities. For this reason, we go over the precautions in class before the field trip. In this article, I would like to introduce some of these precautions. Tattoos are more common among international students compared to Japanese. Many leisure facilities in Japan refuse to accept people with visible tattoos. At one Japanese language school, there was a case where a student was not allowed to enter the facility because they did not check beforehand. Some facilities will allow you to enter if you are invisible, so you may want to carry a jacket even in the summer. However, this is not possible in the case of swimming pools, so give up using the facilities. Also, many places prohibit taking pictures using selfie sticks and live streaming of social networking sites. Be sure to check the precautions beforehand before you go. Onsen(hot spring)Manners It is difficult for even Japanese people to understand all the rules and manners of hot springs and public baths. For this reason, I often hear from international students that they have yet to try them because it seems too difficult to know how to enter. So what kind of rules and manners are there in onsen and sento? The first thing you must do before entering an onsen is to take a "kakeyu," which means to pour hot water on your body to remove dirt from your body before entering the onsen. There are also other things to keep in mind when washing your body. In hot spring facilities, the chairs used for washing your body are shared. Be sure to wash the chair well before putting it away when you are done using it. Also, women should tie their hair up when they enter the onsen. Do not put anything other than your body in the hot spring. The same goes for towels. Leave your towel in the luggage area or put it on your head. If it is your first time in a hot spring, be careful not to stay in the hot spring too long. If you are not used to hot springs, you may get sick. Hydrate frequently while bathing. Even Japanese people sometimes forget the detailed rules, so most onsen facilities have written instructions on how to enter the onsen. There are also YouTube videos that show you how to get in and out of the onsen, so please check them out. Manners in the Park Lastly, I would like to introduce the manners of the parks that are closest to us. I often hear foreigners talking about how parks in Japan are not very free. There are sometimes foreign students who get into trouble in the parks, so it is important to learn park manners as well. One of the most common problems I hear about is foreign students taking fruits and nuts from trees planted in the park. The trees and flowers planted in the park basically belong to the park, so you should not take them home. There are also many people who break the branches of cherry trees during the cherry blossom season. There is a Japanese proverb that says, “Fools who cut cherry trees. Fools who do not cut plum trees." If you cut off an important branch of a cherry tree, it may start to rot. Never cut cherry blossoms, no matter how beautiful they are. Also, I am sometimes asked by students if they can play soccer with their friends in the park. In most parks, you are not allowed to use a ball. Therefore, if you want to play soccer, you need to make a reservation at a local ground. For more information, ask your school teacher or a Japanese person close to you. These are just a few of the things I introduced here. Please be sure to check the website of any leisure facilities you wish to use. Our school offers related classes before and after the field trip. It is a popular way for students to deepen their understanding of Japan, not only by playing but also by learning. I hope that everyone will try to learn about Japanese culture from various places in Japan. This time, I will continue to introduce manners as before. This time it is manners when using leisure facilities. Amusement park manners The Japanese school conducts field trips several times a year. Locations include amusement parks, zoos, and other facilities. Therefore, we will check the precautions during class before the field trip. In this article, we will introduce some of the precautions. Tattoos are more common among international students than among Japan people. Many leisure facilities in Japan refuse people who have tattoos where they can see them. In one Japanese school, students were not allowed into the facility because they did not check in advance. If you can't see it, some facilities allow you to enter the park, so it may be a good idea to bring a jacket even in summer. However, in the case of a pool, this is not possible, so give up using the facilities. In addition, many places prohibit taking photos using selfie sticks and live streaming on SNS. Be sure to check the precautions in advance before going. Onsen manners It is difficult for even Japan people to understand all the rules and manners of hot springs and public baths. For this reason, I often hear from international students that they have not yet been able to take on the challenge because it seems difficult to get in. So, what kind of rules and manners are there in hot springs and public baths? First of all, what you need to do before entering the hot spring is "kakeyu". "Kakeyu" is a hot water that is poured on the body for the purpose of removing dirt from the body before entering the hot spring. It also means getting your body used to the hot water by doing "kakeyu". There are other points to be aware of when washing your body. At the hot spring facility, the chairs used to wash the body are shared. When you're done using it, be sure to wash the chair thoroughly before putting it away. Also, if you are a woman, you should tie your hair when you enter the onsen. Please be careful not to get anything other than your body in the hot spring. It's the same with towels. Leave your towel in the luggage storage area or put it on your head. If you are entering a hot spring for the first time, please be careful not to soak in the hot spring for too long. Some people sometimes get sick if they are not used to hot springs. Drink water frequently while bathing. Even Japan people may forget the detailed rules, so most hot spring facilities have precautions for how to enter. Also, some of them are published on YouTube, etc., so please take a look. Park manners Finally, I would like to introduce the manners of the park that is closest to us. I often hear foreigners say that there is little freedom in Japan parks. There are international students who sometimes cause trouble in the park, so be sure to learn the manners of the park. One of the problems I often hear about international students is taking nuts and fruits from trees planted in parks. The trees and flowers planted in the park are basically from the park, so do not take them home. In addition, many people break the branches of the cherry blossoms when the cherry blossom season comes. There is a Japan proverb that says, "An idiot who cuts cherry blossoms, an idiot who does not cut plums." If you cut off an important branch of a cherry tree, it may start to rot from there. Never cut it, no matter how clean it is. Also, students sometimes ask me if I want to play soccer with my friends but can play it at the park. Most parks are not allowed to use balls. Therefore, if you want to play soccer, you need to make a reservation for a local ground. For details, please ask your school teacher or a Japan close to you. These are just a few. When using leisure facilities, please be sure to check in advance. At our school, we offer classes related to before and after field trips. You can not only play, but also learn, so it is popular that it deepens your understanding of Japan. I hope you will learn about Japan culture from various places in the Japan.
