The beach forms a literal bow-shaped curve about 1.2 km long, with a gently sloping shoreline and calm waves, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for couples and families. To the east, the projecting Tarai Cape offers a superb observation point with sweeping coastal views; to the south you can see the Izu Islands, and to the east and west the coastline stretches toward Tsumekizaki and Ishirōzaki respectively—one of the site’s proud features. ● Selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Swimming Beaches ● Selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Shores (Japan’s Top 100 Forests, Waterfalls, and Shores) ● Selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 White Sand and Green Pine Beaches ● One of the Three Great Beaches of Izu (Yumigahama, Shirahama Ōhama, Imai-hama)

Hello 😃 This is Crystal Sound. Time flies, and it will soon be May — what a surprise 😅 At Shosenkyo Gorge, the trees are beginning to show plump new green shoots 🌱 as they welcome the fresh season, and you can see their vigor. You might also hear pleasant birdsong in the air. Why not take a leisurely walk through nostalgic streets, forgetting the passage of time for a while? A visit to Shosenkyo Gorge might fill you with energy ☺️ It could spark a change in your step starting tomorrow! By the way, the gemstone for May is emerald ✨ Its beautiful green color suits the fresh-leaf season perfectly. The gemstone meanings of emerald are… “happiness, good fortune, love, hope.” You can feel its sparkling power 😉 Come to Shosenkyo Gorge to heal a tired heart. All of our staff sincerely look forward to welcoming you 😆

It is a proboscis hornbeam community that grows wild in Oasa, Kitahiroshima-cho, Hiroshima. The squeaky and sloppy tree shape is eye-catching. It's like stepping into a magical world. With the arrival of spring, the young leaves are budding, and if you look closely, you will see that the flowers are also blooming. It seems that there are years when you can't see flowers, so I was lucky to meet them. Truly, nature is a wonderful designer.
