【Perfect Day for Unoko Falls☀️】

Today (June 10th) brings a rare sunny break!
In the morning, the sunlight was soft, and a refreshing breeze created a pleasant climate 😌🌿

With the rain up until yesterday, the water volume at Unoko Falls is expected to be impressive, right? So, I went to capture it 📸✨

Just as anticipated! I was able to see the breathtaking Unoko Falls 😆💕

The beautiful sunlight sparkled on the water spray and the dancing leaves, creating a truly mystical atmosphere 👏

At this time, the cherry blossoms were about 80% in bloom, but the morning sunlight was perfect.
If the timing is right, the rays of light here are outstanding.

Nestled along the rugged coastline of Otaru, Hokkaido, stands the remarkable Sea Lion Rock, a lesser-known gem that remains largely undiscovered by international visitors. In winter, the surrounding waters become a gathering place for hundreds of Steller sea lions, creating a spectacular wildlife scene against the dramatic backdrop of the Sea of Japan. As the seasons change, summer brings flocks of black-tailed gulls that fill the skies and cliffs with life.
Rising behind this iconic rock formation is the striking red-and-white Shukutsu Observatory, visible prominently above the coastline and extending toward the vast Sea of Japan. This is the light purple Kitayama Yuzen Chrysanthemum blooming in the Hisada District of Sakyo Ward, Kyoto. It is a beautiful flower that only blooms in this area around mid-July, and the view at sunrise is breathtaking.

Umekita Plaza at Grand Green Osaka

As you step into Umekita Park, the first thing that catches your eye is the "large roof" designed by the architectural unit SANAA. It envelops the space with three soft curves spanning 120 meters from north to south, beneath which lies a complex facility featuring the information dissemination center "PLAT UMEKITA," along with cafes and large event spaces. Surrounding it is the spiral staircase "Gate Lantern," which serves as a guiding light for people at night.
The plants in the park are primarily selected from those native to the Uemachi Plateau in Osaka, evoking the city's history and culture. Trees that change color in autumn, such as cherry blossoms, maple trees, and katsura, along with flowers like azaleas and camellias, showcase the beauty of Japanese nature throughout the seasons. Why not take a leisurely stroll in the park, where the scenery changes with the seasons?

We visited Ogijima, an island with nature and art in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, as a family and took a walk to the edge of the island (the walking ark). It was a hot day, making the walk challenging, but we had a great time.

The 53rd Maruseppu Wisteria Festival will be held.

Highlights include a mimicry stage show by SARI, performances by the twin performers PLuto, and a singing performance by Fumiya Tokodai!

This is Osezaki Lighthouse located in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture. It offers a spectacular view at the westernmost point of Japan.

This tea plantation, located at an altitude of 300 meters, is referred to as the "Tea Fields in the Sky" or "Machu Picchu of Gifu."
After a 10-minute walk up the trail, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the tea fields from the observation deck. The photo was taken from the observation deck.

The non-flying airplane and local train

The Sangi Railway Hokusei Line, one of the few narrow-gauge railways in Japan today. Along the line, seasonal flowers bloom, making it a popular railway, but the point about the non-flying airplane is a place known only to a few.

A blue paradise spreads just beside the residential area of Kitamoto City, Saitama Prefecture. What lies ahead, pointed out by a finger, is a small yet unknown thrill. This city offers a unique scenery that can be encountered in everyday life.

Crimson Clover in Katsurao Village, Fukushima Prefecture

After the temporary evacuation was lifted due to the nuclear accident, cultivation began as a green manure to improve the soil of the deteriorated farmland.
By incorporating Crimson Clover into the soil as green manure, it is said that the fertility of the farmland is restored.

A photo of the entire field in bright red gradually spread on social media, and this initiative started to gain media attention.

Tokyo Camera Club and Katsurao Village collaborated to establish photo spots (three locations) with the help of Michi-no-Eki Sera, aiming to boost tourism.
If you take photos at the three locations and show them at Katsurao Village Reconstruction Exchange Hall Azalea, you will receive seeds of Crimson Clover.

It is a symbol of the reconstruction of Katsurao Village.

This year's photo spots were available until the 24th, but be sure to visit next year.

The planting locations change every year, so it's convenient to check at Katsurao Village Reconstruction Exchange Hall Azalea before going.

I participated in the photo tour organized by Tokyo Camera Club this time.
It was held with the full cooperation of Katsurao Village, and I was moved by the warmth of the villagers.

On the expansive grounds of about 10,000 tsubo, over 250 varieties and more than 500 blooming roses are on display throughout the seasons♪

You can view 193 selected works from approximately 3,000 pieces displayed last autumn at the National Art Center, Tokyo, which include Japanese paintings, Western paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, and calligraphy, along with works by local artists from Nagano Prefecture
