The God of worship enshrines Oyamatsumi no Mikoto (Oyama no Mikoto) and Kotoshironushi no Mikoto (Kotoshiro no Mikoto). It was founded by welcoming the spirits of Mishima Myojin (Shizuoka Prefecture / Mishima Taisha), which was worshipped by the first shogun of the Kamakura shogunate, Prince Minamoto no Yoritomo, in Hayama, which is famous as a scenic spot. After that, it has a history of being visited by successive generals. Benefits include good luck and good luck, safe childbirth, child treasure, Marriage, business prosperity, and family safety. It is also popular as a scenic spot Representative of Shonan with a view of Mt. Fuji, Enoshima, the Torii (shrine gate) gate of Meijima Island that enshrines the dragon god over Sagami Bay, and the Hayama Lighthouse (Yujiro Lighthouse), and is visited by many worshippers. In particular, the divinely shining Sunset called "Morito Sunset," which has been certified as one of the 50 best scenic spots in Kanagawa, is breathtakingly beautiful. In April and September, you will also have the chance to see Diamond Fuji. Please take a look. From here, we will guide you through the gifts, amulets, and shuin stamps of Morito Shrine. ◆ Morito's Cleansing Salt Morito's Cleansing Salt, which has been used for cleansing and exorcism since ancient times, is ideal for filling entrances and doorways, making offerings to shrines, disposing of favorite items such as dolls, and cleansing baths (please be careful if you have sensitive skin). In addition, it is said that salt brings happiness, and it can also be a prosperous business and good luck. ◆ Child Gems If you stroke it every day, it is a stone that is said to be blessed with children. Please enshrine it on the shrine shelf or in the bedroom. In addition, after being blessed with a child, we receive a prayer for a safe birth, and after giving birth, we write the "child's name" on this child jewelry and return it to the "child jewel store" when visiting the temple. ◆ Amulet We offer a wide variety of amulets. In addition to the "Evil Luck Protection" and "Child Blessing Protection", there are "Wave Riding Protection" that is prayed to ride the big waves of life, "Water Rescue Protection" that removes water-related disasters such as the sea and rivers, "Kagayaki Protection" that is prayed for living a good life, "Enmusubi Gomori" and "Shellfish Love Protection" that are beneficial for Marriages, and "Pet Protection" that depicts dogs and cats. ◆ Takofugu Mikuji There is also a fortune teller "Takotafuku Mikuji" that uses a special fishing rod to catch your favorite puffer fish and octopus. Kamakura Meigetsu-in Temple's Window of Enlightenment On a sunny holiday, I visited Kita-Kamakura. Even in the middle of April, the cherry blossoms turn into leaf cherry blossoms and the landscape is a little lonely, but the scenery glimpsed behind this circular window is deep green, and I could already feel the Omen of summer. Behind the dimly lit Main Shrine, the colorful cut-out composition of the Garden illuminated by natural light is like looking at a painting. No matter what time you visit, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the four seasons.

Goma throws a goma tree into the flame in the altar to ward off evil and calamity, purify one's desires, and fulfill one's aspirations. It is an esoteric ritual to ask. At Oyama Temple, once a year (usually on February 28) a special event is held. Godangoma sets up altars in front of the Five Great Myō Kings, places a fire furnace in front of each altar, burns milk, etc., and prays to the Honzon. We burn the firewood of our troubles with the fire of wisdom and pray for no illness and disaster, increased profits, and respect. This ceremony is visited by many pilgrims from far and wide, and it is crowded with bonfires all day long. Even if you look at the whole country, it is rare to see a goma performed at the five altars. The Godan Goma practice is a special event held once a year, but the regular Goma prayer is held every day, and it is a valuable experience that anyone can participate in. In the solemn atmosphere of Oyama Temple deep in the mountains, please spend a moment to wash your heart. Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, you can purify your mind and body by participating in the ritual of Goma and return to your daily life with a new mindset. Please enjoy this precious opportunity to bring peace and moisture to your heart along with the solemn atmosphere of the temple. Anyone can participate, so feel free to ask.
