Fukuoka Prefecture may not be on the typical tourist route, but it harbors countless hidden gems, and Nanzoin Temple is undeniably one of the most noteworthy. It claims to house the world's largest bronze reclining Buddha statue, which exudes tranquility under the vast blue sky. Despite visiting numerous places, it holds a special place in my heart, infusing me with positivity and making it one of my favorite summer destinations.

Futamigaura is renowned for the two "wedded rocks" that protrude from the sea, symbolizing conjugal bliss. It offers a beautiful setting for a relaxed coastal outing. At Sakurai Futamigaura, a picturesque shoreline location, the white torii of a nearby shrine frames the wedded rocks. On the summer solstice, the sun sets right in the middle of the Sakurai Futamigaura wedded rocks, creating an unforgettable sight. One thing I must not miss at this incredibly romantic place is capturing a photo of my beloved wife in the frame.

It is a traditional event that has been handed down since the Edo period. The Origin is uncertain, but it is said to be for the memorial service of the Bon Festival, the insect chasing event to wish for a good harvest of Rice, and the memorial service for the victims of the putsch that occurred in the Edo period. On the day of the fire Festival, all Mr./Ms. local residents will prepare small torches from the area around Harajiri Falls to the rice fields around the Ogata Plain. At night, when about 10,000 small torches are lit at once, the light of the small torches Gari emerges from the area around Harajiri Falls to the Ogata Plain. Scenes are very fantastic. Available are also made of small torches such as Torii (shrine gates) and stone bridges unique to Ogata, and beauty competitions are held.

It is located at an elevation of about 2000m at the foothills of Mt. Asama A photographic trip to the pond flats in search of coolness When you pass through the ski resort of Yunomaru Highlands The Highlands is a different world where you can feel the signs of autumn. The towns at the foothills are over 36°C! The Highlands is 24°C! comfortable♪ Around the Kagami Pond in the marshland, the grass Autumn leaves have begun. I was able to enjoy summer and early autumn at the same time. The clouds that occasionally stream into the marshland created a fantastic view reflected in the pond.

Ume Plum Koan We are the only smoked plum manufacturer in Japan that continues to make smoked plums without changing the manufacturing method handed down to Nara Tsukigase about 700 years ago. Smoked plum is a processing of Ume plum fruit, which was introduced to Nara as a medicine by the Sui and Tang envoys about 1,300 years ago. It was introduced to Tsukigase as a mordant for safflower dyeing during the Nanboku Dynasty about 700 years ago. From the late Edo period to the early Meiji period, it was peak season as a mordant for red for cosmetics, and as many as 400 smoked plum manufacturers and it, but the demand for smoked plum plummeted due to the invention of chemical dyes. In the early Showa period, there were only a few manufacturers, and after the end of the war, Ume Plum Koan became the sole manufacturer. At Ume Plum Koan, we Cultivation Ume Plum, Rice, vegetables, and food processing in a vast land area of 30,000 square Rice meters and a rich Nature full of greenery. This area, the Ume Plum of Tsukigase, was originally planted for the purpose of smoked plum cultivation, but the beauty of the Ume in full bloom shining on the Valleys of the Satsukigawa river and the river surface Fascination people, and it became the first scenic spot in Japan. During the Ume Plum Festival period from February ~ the end of March, you can Fun Meals and cherry blossom viewing at Our stores at the pier seats with a superb view of the scent of Ume Plums. In the sixth year of Reiwa, we built a new Nara Beni Workshop. It is a Japan building that incorporates Japan craftsmanship everywhere. You can experience safflower dyeing using smoked plum in a workshop where you can feel the delicate and advanced technology and Japan beauty. We hope that this experience will be an opportunity for you to rediscover the wonders of Japan culture. When you look at the colors of the Nature that change every day and the sea of clouds in the early morning that spreads across the Tsukigase Valleys, you feel as if you are in the Ume Plum Minamoto Township. Early Spring light, quiet fresh greenery, fruitful autumn and winter aroma. At that time, I work seasonally, and live in the harsh but warm Nature of Tsukigase.
