A place loved as a famous place for cherry blossoms and many people think of "Imperial Palace Chidorigafuchi" "Chiyoda-ku Noryo no Night" is a traditional Japanese "lantern flow" that began 1958 Showa 33 to heal the hearts of people who were devastated after the war. In recent years, it was canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but 2022 Reiwa 4 has been revived for the first time in three years. On a summer night in central Tokyo, the light of 2,000 lanterns filled with people's wishes and hopes, We have created a fantastic scenery shimmering on the surface of the moat. Many tourists and boat participants from Japan and abroad float in the "Beacon of Hope." Each one expresses the gratitude and wishes of the participants.

COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR

Introducing photos post "Everyone's post"! Inbound tourist information social media "COOL JAPAN VIDEOS" pickup post. Today, I would like to introduce Lily0321's post "Cleaning up the dondo-yaki fire held in a mountain village in Niigata Prefecture". It's a quaint piece that captures unique festival and traditional culture. In Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, the strange festival "Muko Throwing" and "Sumi-zuki" held in January every year are small New Year's events that have been handed down since the Edo period. Muko-tossing wishes for the blessing of marriage and the bond of husband and wife, and throws the son-in-law who got married the previous year off a 5-meter-high cliff. In addition, Sumi-gashi is an event in which charcoal and snow are mixed with dondoyaki Shinto ritual, the god of sai and applied to each other's faces, wishing for a disease-free life and prosperity of the family business. The festival is held at Matsunoyama Onsen, one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Japan. It is a historical hot spring that has a theory that it is a hidden hot spring of the Echigo guardian Uesugi family. Due to the strong salt quality of the spring, it does not cool down even in winter, and it is also called "Japan's three major medicinal hot springs". The hot spring town is full of sightseeing spots such as open-air baths, day-trip hot springs, foot baths, and gourmet food. At the "Earth Furnace" where the kominka was relocated, you can experience grilling the hearth and making hot spring pork. ◆Matsunoyama Onsen◆ 【Access】 About 25 minutes by bus from Matsudai Station on the Hokuhoku Line About 60 minutes by car from the Kanetsu Expressway "Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC" Please check the official website for details.

Cleaning up a dondo-yaki fire in a mountain village in Niigata Prefecture. The "Suminuri Festival" was also held, so my face is black with charcoal. Even though it was snowing, the old-fashioned appearance was impressive.

COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR
Nov. 24, 2022
Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce "umestagram" post "Gotokuji Temple in Tokyo". It's a cute photo of the beckoning cats with simple expressions. Gotokuji Temple, which is related to Maneki-neko, is located in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo in the Kanto region. A long time ago, Naotaka Ii, the lord of the Hikone clan, was beckoned by a cat in the temple on his way home from falconry and went inside, and suddenly a thunderclap came. The episode that he was able to avoid difficulties thanks to the cat and also enjoyed talking with Kazuhisa is the origin of "Maneki Neko's Birthplace". In the wake of this, Godeji Temple was revived in the 10th year of Kanei 1633 with the support of Ii Naotaka. At Godeji Temple, the beckoning cat is called "Maneki Neko". In the "Shofukuden" in the precincts, various sizes of Shofuku cat children are dedicated, and the sight is breathtaking. At the shrine office, you will receive a red seal and an amulet and figurine of a Shofuku cat child, so how about a souvenir? At the café "Mahorodo Aozuki" in the vicinity, you can enjoy a menu related to Godeji Temple such as "Maneki Nekodora". Access is about a 10-minute walk from Gotokuji Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line, and about a 5-minute walk from Miyanosaka Station on the Tokyu Setagaya Line. There are many signs and figurines with cat motifs in front of the station and in the shopping street, and there are many highlights while going from the station to Gotokuji Temple.

【English/Japanese】 I went to the rooster market in Hachioji with some of my students! There is an Otori Shrine about a 5-minute walk from Hachioji Station. I was impressed by the lucky and gorgeous decorations. Moreover, the sight of shopkeepers calling out good luck to customers who buy them was just like Japanese culture, and the students were very excited. On the way home, we bought a specialty of the rooster market, kirisansho rice cakes covered with a spice called sansho. It was very delicious. There are two more rooster fairs to come. We hope you will visit the rooster market as well. I went to the Hachioji Tori no Ichi with my students! There is Otori Shrine about a 5-minute walk from Hachioji Station. Impressed by the auspicious and luxurious decoration. In addition, the sight of the shop staff shouting auspicious things to customers who bought them was a reflection of Japanese culture itself, and the students were also excited. On the way back, I bought Tori no Ichi's famous kiri sansho mochi sprinkled with spices called sansho. It was very tasty. There are two more Tori no Ichi. Please come and visit us.

We are Kamogawa Hot spring Lien. We opened on the 8th of August, 2022. A Japanese-style architecture built in the image of an old Japanese inn. The warmth and fragrance of gentle wood with a beautiful sea spreading out before your eyes. There are a water features in front of the rooms and in front of the lobby reflect the moon at night and wave with the wind, making the Open-air baths even more beautiful at night. The open-air baths are just about the size where you can stretch out your legs and spend a relaxing time while looking up at the sky. At the time of the opening, there were no trees between the private rooms and the inn, but now, as the trees grew, you can enjoy your privacy and no longer have to worry about the line of sight across the street. Of course, the view of the beautiful ocean remains absolutely unobstructed. There are 10 rooms in total. Four of them are included dinner served at each room. "Mushroom Exhibition" being held at Gallery ARTS RUSH in Daikanyama. Pulp Art Mushroom Lamp is exhibiting. This time, the DM was made a lamp 🍄✨ of Kinugasatake She is the queen of mushrooms that I have longed to make someday. Casa, dress, egg, part of the pattern. We carefully produced each part while thinking about how to make the pulp so that it has a texture. When I was strolling around the back of the atelier to take pictures, there was a crowd of mushrooms! The crowd was Bulbophyllum. When I saw it again the next day, they were all gone, but the impact was amazing, so I immediately tried to make it through trial and error. The mushroom exhibition will be until tomorrow, but you can enjoy the unique works of the artists. If you are in the vicinity, please feel free to take a look ♪. "I've never been to a local tourist attraction before," my mother said, and this photo was taken when I traveled to my hometown. The retro advertisement on the ceiling of the theater was very cute. There were many people shooting from directly below the ceiling, but when I looked at it from various angles, the contrast between red and blue was beautiful, so I shot from diagonally below. When I learned that there was such a precious and wonderful building in my hometown, I fell in love with the local area even more. There are not many left this year, but I want to go on a trip with my mother again.
