Introducing Takushoku Kinokotan, located inside Takushoku Bus’s Shintoku Office 😊 This tourist farm reuses sites once used by Hokkaido Takushoku Railway for its headquarters, rolling stock depot, and company housing on the line that ran between Shintoku and Kamishihoro. The name Takushoku Kinokotan is a coined word combining Takutetsu (short for Hokkaido Takushoku Railway), “kinoko” (mushroom), and the Ainu word kotan, meaning village. It reflects the desire to bring new life back to this once-bustling place. You can enjoy a hands-on shiitake harvesting experience grown carefully on logs using timber felled in Hokkaido. At the farm shop you can buy log-grown shiitake, Hokkaido Takushoku Railway and bus merchandise, and mushroom goods. There is also a display corner exhibiting historical materials related to Hokkaido Takushoku Railway 😍 Look for the red roof! The building’s motif is the former Shikaoi Station building 🎵 📍Hours: 10:00–15:30 (last shiitake harvest admission at 15:00) 📍Closed: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and during the New Year holidays 📍Fees: Harvested shiitake are sold by weight. 📍Experience season: March–November — no reservation required on weekends and public holidays; reservations required on weekdays December–February — reservations required for both weekends, public holidays, and weekdays *For groups of five or more, please make a reservation at least two weeks in advance regardless of season or date.* Takushoku Kinokotan TEL: 0156-67-9105 📍Access: About 10 minutes from Shintoku Station by bus: take Route 53 via Shintoku Station bound for Minami-Shintoku and get off at Minami-Shintoku 20 minutes on foot from Shintoku Station About 5 minutes by car from Shintoku Station About 10 minutes by bicycle from Shintoku Station *Bicycle rentals are available at Shintoku Station.* Bicycle rental inquiries and reservations: 0156-67-7567 Shintoku Town Tourism Association (Regional Exchange Center “Tokutoku”, 2nd floor) https://t-kinokotan.com//

An island 🏝 you'll want to come back to again and again ― Izu Oshima Island Tour Hello! This is 🤗 Hokule'a Shonan This time, I would like to introduce ✨ the Scene of the diving tour on Izu Oshima Island Izu Oshima Island is a popular outlying island that is easy to access from Tokyo. It's about 45 minutes by high-speed boat from Atami, 🛳 but it's a different world in the sea. Held in for the second time this year, and there are many repeat visitors, making it truly 😊 an island that makes you want to come back again and again A fascinating Water world 🌊 The sparkling scenery that spreads out in the shallow area ✨ The world surrounded by light is so beautiful that you will want to look at it forever. Plus, swimming through the dynamic terrain ⛰️ arches and rocky terrain created by volcanic eruptions will make you feel like you're on an adventure. No matter where you dive, there is a lot of variety, and every time you dive, you will discover something new! And above all, a school 🐠🐟 of fish constantly swimming around the divers and never and a moment when they get bored. Unforgettable Night Diving 🌙 What was particularly impressive this time was night diving. The sea at night shows a completely different look than in the daytime. Fish and nocturnal creatures illuminated by lights... Kiss your heart. Among them, what! !️ I came across an oversized sea turtle 🐢 with a body length of more than 1 m. Impression ✨ by the appearance of sleeping comfortably on the rocky ground Everyone was so excited by the power that they just got close and kissed ... I'm sorry 🙏 I woke you up, but it was 👏 a really valuable encounter. Summary🪸 Izu Oshima Island is a special place that combines the grandeur of Nature with the richness of Water, in addition to its proximity and accessibility. A world of shallow light, volcanic terrain, schools of fish, and encounters with big game... All of them will be unforgettable memories. I Izu Oshima Island everyone thinks, "I want to Outbound again!" I can't wait to see 🤿✨ what kind of encounters await me on the next tour 📸 The tour Scene and Latest Information are also Broadcasting on Instagram! 👉 @hokulea_divejapan #DiveJapan #UnderwaterAdventure #ScubaLife #OceanLovers #NightDive #DivingJapan #ExploreTheBlue #HokuleaShonan

Hello! This is 🤗 Hokule'a Shonan This time, I went diving in Futo, a popular Spot in Higashiizu! Tomito is a place that can be reached by Day trip from the Kanto region, There is a it is ✨ one of the most popular beaches in the Higashi-Izu diving Spot On this day, we were 👍 divided into an OW (Open Water) training team and a fun dive team. The transparency, which was a little down, was recovering quickly and I was able 😄 to dive very comfortably. August is coming to an end, but the midsummer days are still ongoing. After all, the sea looks best 🏝 in summer. Of course, the coolness of the air conditioner is comfortable, but the time to jump into the sea in front of you and cool off while soaking up the sun is the most luxurious moment 🐠 of all. The moment you put your face on the surface of the water, it is a blissful time. In the sparkling water, a flock of Solas damselfish unique to Higashi-Izu Unfolds. The scene is a healing space that you will want to look at forever, and it will make you 🤿 feel the charm of diving again. And what I would like to recommend in Tomito is "Tomito Hall". The terrain is like a small cave, and on a clear day, the light shines through, making you 🌟 feel like you're exploring a small cave. If you were too busy to go diving in the summer, don't worry! Tomito, which can be reached on a day trip from the Kanto region, is the perfect sea for the upcoming hot season. It is a diving Spot that even beginners can participate in with confidence, so it is recommended to start obtaining Sense and fun dives at this time. 🌈 Hokule'a Shonan is a PADI 5 Star diving center located in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The theme is "Let's go on a journey to a world we haven't seen yet!" We help you discover the wonders and joys of Nature through diving. Held in diving courses and tours for more than 300 days a year in Izu, Okinawa, overseas, etc., and the small group system makes beginners feel safe. We can also make a plan according to your request, so please feel free to contact us 🫧. Even if you missed the summer, the residual heat continues. Why don't you take this opportunity to experience diving in Higashi-Izu and Tomito? 🌊 #DiveJapan #JapanDiving #FutoDiving #EastIzu #DayTripFromTokyo #BeginnerFriendly #SmallGroupDiving #EnglishFriendly #DiscoverScuba #ExploreTheBlue #OceanLovers #UnseenWorld

Diving connects the 🌏 world Hello. This is 🤗 Hokule'a Shonan The other day, I went to the popular diving spot "Izu Marine Park (IOP)" in Higashi-Izu. This time, we had guests from Spain and guests from the United States living in Japan. It was a 🤿✨ very international dive On the day of the dive, we were divided into two teams: the experience diving team and the fun dive team. The experience diving team started by snorkeling and getting used to the sea. Scene observed colorful fish in a shallow area with high transparency, and the guests seemed 😄 to be having a lot of fun After that, I tried to breathe in water for the first time. I was a little nervous at first, but I soon got used to it and was able to dive calmly. In addition, I tried water photography, and I was able to enjoy 👏 it with so much leeway that I couldn't believe it was the first time The Fun Dive Team aimed for Izu Marine Park's Specialties "Water Post". Meter under the seabed, you can 📮✨ actually post a postcard to this post and the postcard will really reach the other party. Those who receive it will surely be surprised. In addition, this time, a guest who enjoys drawing also tried drawing in water. It was a special and luxurious time to enjoy diving and art at the same time. There is a very much to 🙏 everyone who participated this time Once again, I felt 🌏 that diving is an Activities that connects the world It is a great pleasure for us to be able to connect across borders through the sea. ——— 🌈 Hokule'a Shonan is a small-group dive shop located in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. Under the theme of "Let's embark on a journey to an unseen world!", we convey the beauty and enjoyment of Nature through diving. Held in tours and courses for more than 300 days a year, mainly in the Izu, Manazuru, and Shonan areas, including in Okinawa and overseas. We value polite support so that beginners can participate with peace of mind. From now on, all the staff will do their best to guide 🌊✨ you so that more people can know about the beautiful sea of Japan Let's experience a new world together! It's like an Okinawa resort! Pool diving experience 🌴 in Kanagawa Hello! This is ⛱️ Hokule'a Shonan The other day, we held in a divemaster training at a resort-like pool in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture! The clear blue sky and the sparkling water surface of the pool will keep you 🤿🌞 excited from the morning The biggest attraction of this pool is the bright and open atmosphere like the white sand of Okinawa. Sunlight shines into the water, Unfolding a curtain of shimmering light. It's like a vacation even before diving! It is the best environment where you can enjoy the "extraordinary". In the course, participants aiming to become divemasters confirmed their basic skills and practiced how to respond to emergencies. A pool with no waves or streams is an environment where you can calm down and concentrate, so it is perfect for establishing skills. This resort pool is also a great place to practice skin diving. Ideal for preparing before going to the sea, such as finwork, ear removal, and checking your posture in water. The transparency is also high, making it perfect for taking photos in the water or practicing semi-water shots 📸 "I don't want to go to the sea today, but I want to dive in the pool." Please feel free to contact us. With the comfort and security unique to the pool, even beginners can easily enjoy it. Those who want to start diving and skin diving in Kanagawa, Those who want to improve their skills in a resort feeling, This summer, go to pool training where both "healing and learning" come true! 🌺 Make your diving life freer and more enjoyable. 🇯🇵 Excellent Access from Tokyo! Held in PADI diving course in Nishi-Izu [English support, small group size] Implementation at Hokule'a Shonan recently held a PADI Open Water Diver Course. The locations are "Hirasawa" and "Ida" in Nishi-Izu, which can be reached on a day trip from Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. Both are highly transparent and are perfect Spots for your first marine training. All of the guests who participated this time were beginners in diving. Scenes were nervous at first, but after a careful lecture on land, Nature was smiling by the time they entered the sea. The instructor supported me one by one and proceeded with the course calmly. 🤿 Diving is "fun and learning" In the diving course, you will practice basic skills such as breathing in water, clearing a mask, and neutral buoyancy. Even if you are a first-timer, you can rest assured that the small group size and slow pace will make you feel at ease. While experiencing buddy checks and equipment settings, you will acquire Nature and "diver thinking". Above all, the best part is that you can practice in the beautiful sea. The sea in Ida is called "Ida blue", and surrounded by clear Water and colorful fish, you will feel as if you are in another world. 🌏 Classes in English are also available. Suitable for travelers and business travelers! Hokule'a Shonan offers PADI Sense courses in English. It is also possible for those who want to obtain a Sense while traveling or business travelers who are staying for a short period of time. With a flexible schedule, you can tailor the course to your stay plan. 🚉 30 seconds walk from JR Hiratsuka Station (easy Access from Tokyo and Yokohama) 📆 Schedule request OK 👥 Peace of mind in private or small groups 🗣 English-speaking instructors 📩 The first step to the world's oceans, right here in Japan Activities can be started even if you are not a good swimmer. Water is a magical experience of breathing in the water, encounters with sea creatures, and quiet time to face yourself. Everything will be a special memory that will stay with you. If you get a PADI C card (Sense), you will be able to dive in the world's oceans. I sincerely recommend it to those who want to start a new hobby or refresh themselves in Nature. Making seabed Aged wine on a sunken ship|Special tour Held in in Higashi-Izu and Irisawa! Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan! This time, we successfully held in 😊 our special project, "Making Aged Wine on the Sea Floor in Sunken Ships" This time, the wine was sunk in a sunken ship at a depth of -24 meters in water in Irisawa in Higashi-Izu. In fact, it is said that the origin of "seabed Aged wine" is an old wine that was accidentally discovered in a sunken ship. The swaying waves, the quiet environment, the shading and the constant water temperature created an ideal aged environment for the wines. We Reproduction the "Submarine Cellar" this time! The specially prepared bottles were sealed with sealing wax and the carefully prepared wine was transported to the sea. The space inside the wreck is "just the right size" as if it was prepared for this wine. The scenery peeking out from the side was truly fantastic, and it was a scenery that made me feel somewhat "romantic". Thank you to everyone who participated on this day! In particular, There is a 🍷✨ to Mr. Kobayashi of Hiratsuka's wine bar Binot, who has given us a great deal of cooperation from the planning stage this time The wine will be raised six months later, in December. At this year's Christmas party, a special one that has been quietly Aged on the seabed will appear in front of you. What does it taste like? I can't stop being excited! At Hokule'a Shonan, it will not end with "just a diving experience" from now on. We would like to propose a "little special sea trip". ▼Special thanks Instagram @shobuzawa_diving (Irisawa Diving Center) @winestore_sakae_binot (Wine Bar Binot) Information on upcoming tours and events will be introduced on the official Instagram and blog from time to time, so be sure to check it out! #SeaAgedWine #UnderwaterCellar #WineDive #OceanAging #WreckDive #HokuleaShonan #DiveJapan #UniqueExperiences #WineLovers #UnderwaterAdventure

[Notice 📢 of start of skin diving course] Hello! From this summer, Hokule'a Shonan will start a new "skin diving course" 🫧 Many of you may be wondering, "What is skin diving?" Skin diving is a diving style in which you dive into the Water with "only your own breath" without using a tank like Scuba Diving. It is similar to so-called "Diving with bare hands", but it is very important not only to dive, but also to have the skills and knowledge to enjoy it safely. For example, by properly learning how to breathe properly, how to remove ears, posture in water, and how to dive, you will be 🌿 able to enjoy it much more comfortably and with peace of mind The appeal of skin diving is "lightness" and "freedom". Because there are few equipment, you can directly experience a sense of unity with your body and the sensation of water, and you will feel as if you are one with the sea. It's perfect for those who say, "I like the sea, but scuba seems a bit of a hurdle ..." Of course, it is also recommended 🐬 for experienced scuba players as a new way to enjoy it This course is designed so that even beginners can participate with confidence. We will support you carefully, so please feel free to contact us 😊 if you are not confident in swimming or are worried about removing your ears 🌊 \Skin Course and Skin Tour Held In Date/ 📍Saturday, June 28 📍July 12 (Sat) - 13 (Sun) Lake Suganuma Skin Tour 📍Saturday, July 19 Held in on request in addition to the above dates! If you would like to be able to participate on this day, please contact us 🙌 Let's 💙 experience the "breathtakingly beautiful" world of the sea together We look forward to your participation! #SkinDiving #FreedivingJapan #TrySkinDiving

Divers who protect the ocean are cool after all! Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan! Today, I'd like to tell you a little bit about what we're working on, Dive Against Yellowtail. The other day, my friends and I dived together into the sea in Shizuura, Shizuoka Prefecture, and dived to collect garbage in the water. Take a look at this group photo taken after the activity! Isn't everyone really cool? The reason we think it's "cool" isn't just how it looks. I hope that we will come to an age where "picking up trash" will be taken for granted and seen as something to be proud of. That's what we have in mind. 🌊 Diving is a special time to connect with the sea. When you dive, you will be soothed by the tranquility and beauty of the water. You will also notice that there is garbage produced by people in the sea. Plastic bags, plastic bottles, pieces of fishing gear... There is also a reality that makes you want to look away. In such a situation, there is something that only divers can do. We believe so. Picking up trash can be sobering. But it's an action to protect the oceans of the future. And don't you think it's very cool? 🪸 Protecting the ocean should be part of the appeal of diving. Protecting the environment isn't just for special people. There are many things that you can feel and do because you are a diver. For those of us who live with the sea, the act of "protecting" is Nature. That may be the image of a "cool" diver in the future. Don't take out trash and pick it up. Both of these are steps towards protecting our oceans. Hokule'a Shonan will continue these activities in the future. If you like the ocean, why don't you start doing something "a little good for the earth" together? #DiveAgainstDebris #OceanConservation #ProtectWhatYouLove #ScubaForChange #DiversForTheOcean #CleanupDive #BluePlanetProtection #SustainableDiving #MarineDebrisAwareness #EcoFriendlyDiver #PADIAWARE #HokuleaShonan

Thinking about the future of the oceans and what we can do on World Environment Day Hello, this is 🌊 Hokule'a Shonan June 5 is World Environment Day 🌏 For those of us who face the sea every day and work to deliver the charm of the sea, This is a special day with a very important meaning. When you hear the word "environmental issues," you may feel that it is a distant story. Issues that should be addressed by the government and companies, and what experts should consider It's easy to think like that. The truth is that environmental issues do not belong to "anyone" but to each of us. For example, straws and plastic shopping bags from convenience stores that you used casually. Even if you think you have thrown it away properly, it will be blown away by the wind and washed away by the rain. Thereare you may end up in the sea. As a result, more and more plastic waste continues to grow in the ocean. If we don't do anything, It is said that 😢 by 2050, the amount of plastic in the ocean will exceed the amount of fish And the fish that accidentally ate the plastic died, Sea turtles are dying, whales are dying, and seabirds are dying. Is that the kind of future we really want? 🐢🐟🐋🕊️ What we can do doesn't have to be big. However, each of them has the power to change the future in a big way. For example ✅ Don't "opt" for single-use plastic products ✅ "Picking up" plastic waste that has fallen on the Coast Even the smallest actions can eventually lead to big changes. One thing 🌱 you can do today In Hokule'a Shonan, through diving and snorkeling, I feel that it is our mission to focus on and convey both the beauty of the ocean and the challenges we are currently facing. Passing on the beautiful ocean to the next generation. Why don't you start doing just one thing today? #WorldEnvironmentDay #OceanPlastic #OneActionCanChangeTheFuture #ProtectOurOceans #DiveAgainstDebris #PADI #SDGs14 #ProjectAware #HokuleaShonan

Lake Motosu is one of the Fuji Five Lakes and is a highly transparent Water lake 💎 located about 900 meters Elevation It is 🤿 a rare Spot in Japan where you can experience altitude diving (high-altitude diving) On this day, we went to Lake Motosu with 🌍 guests from overseas It was ✨ indeed a special day for the guests who were trying their first Lake Motosu and their first Altitude dive In the lake, there was 🌲 a landscape that made you feel as if you were in ancient times A dynamic terrain formed by lava and a water bottom with a number of surprisingly large sunken trees. The silence and scale of it is simply overwhelming 😮 In addition, there is a legend that there was once a Torii (shrine gate) gate and a shrine, and there is a hint of more than 1,200 years of history in the Water. The time spent at the bottom of the lake while thinking about the prayer place sunk in the Water is very mysterious 🕊️ The water temperature on this day felt a little cold at 18-11°C, but we were able 🧊 to dive comfortably in a dry suit I was particularly impressed by the deep and clear blue world 💙 called "Lake Motosu Blues" Impression 👏 of transparency and tranquility, which is completely different from the sea, And after the dive... Superb view of Mount Fuji towering in front of you! 🗻 In addition to diving, you can experience both the Nature and culture of Japan, which is a major attraction 🇯🇵 of Lake Motosu diving ✅ Recommended points for Lake Motosu diving ✅ A special experience where you can dive at the foot of Mount Fuji, a World Heritage Site ✅ Altitude diving is possible ✅ Lakebed with more than 1,200 years of history and tradition ✅ A water world where giant trees, lava, and the mysterious "Lake Motosu Blues" spread ✅ Perfect for sightseeing with a Mount Fuji view! 🌈 In Hokule'a Shonan, diving at Lake Motosu can be requested 📅 all year round The water temperature varies greatly from 5 to 25°C depending on the season, and you can enjoy 🍃❄️🌸☀️ a different look every time you visit "I want to dive near Mt. It's like a Water Water house One of the things that surprised me when I entered was the number of fish! The moment when you are surrounded by sparkling schools of fish is truly a "paradise in the sea" 🏝️✨ The transparency is good, and the light in the water is very fantastic.
