Summer Memories This is a photo taken from above of the Hozu River descent Located in in Kyoto Prefecture. I got off the Trolley Train in Sagano and was strolling around when I encountered a boat going down the river at the right time. Valleys surrounded by deep greenery, the boat moves slowly. The sunlight reflecting off the surface of the water, the cool breeze, and the laughter of friends. Everything from that summer day is packed into this one piece.

夏の思い出

こちらは、京都府にあります保津川下りを上から撮影致しました。
嵯峨野のトロッコ列車から降り、散策していたところタイミングよく川下りをしている舟と遭遇。
深い緑に包まれた渓谷を、舟はゆっくりと進んでいく。
水面に反射する太陽の光、涼やかな風、そして仲間たちの笑い声。
あの夏の日のすべてが、この一枚に詰まってる。

[2025 Rokkakudo Kiriko Festival] Scene of the "Rokkakudo Kiriko Festival" on 10/13 (Monday). You can see the historical Kiriko exhibition up close. The works created over time are detailed and delicate... I am overwhelmed by the beauty that I can't believe is human work! At dusk, when the lights are lit in the Rokkakudo Hall and I see the local people praying, I hope that this scene will continue to be passed down in the future, along with the miracle that has continued for more than 300 years.

10/13（月）の「六角堂切子まつり」の様子です。
歴史ある切子の展示を間近で見ることができます。
時間をかけて制作した作品は緻密で繊細…人間業とは思えないほどの美しさに圧倒！
夕暮れ時、六角堂に灯がともり地域の方々がお参りしている姿を見ていると300年以上もこの光景が続いている奇跡と共に、これからも受け継がれていくことを願ってやみません。

【Sunset Village Festa 2025 in Gokase】 10/12 (Sun) at Gokase Winery Event Plaza "The 27th Sunset Village Festa 2025in Gokase" was held in 🌞 under clear skies With the opening Drum, the sense of festival was heightened at once, and the venue became ✨ one with the Danshichi Dance of the Kamigumi Elementary School and the Danshichi Odori Preservation Society In dancing and hula dancing, many people start dancing together involuntarily ✨ Kainina's song selection was too much, and I neglected the camera and nodded 🎶 On the stage of Aju Girls, many fans 📷 took pictures at the front The Momacy Five have a strong presence, involving the entire venue and bringing smiles to 😆 everyone's faces Squid harvesting was also held in the fields of the venue, and many people carried bags full of Sweet Potatoes and went home with a Squid 🍠 And the melody played by the main guest, "Toshiki Abe Life Memory Project", and the atmosphere of the venue as dusk approached was the best 😍 Finale is decorated by Kotono Shrine Kagura 👹 Parade lion dances around the venue were screaming all over the 😅 place Many people 😊 participated in the final mochi throwing I was also able to see the beautiful Sunset, which was the reason for the sunset village, and it was ✨ a fun day again this year

【夕陽の里フェスタ2025in五ヶ瀬】

10/12(日)に五ヶ瀬ワイナリーイベント広場で「第27回夕陽の里フェスタ2025in
五ヶ瀬」が晴天の中開催されました🌞

オープニングの太鼓で一気にお祭り感が高まり、上組小学校・団七踊り保存会の団七踊りで会場は一体に✨

ダンスやフラダンスでは思わず一緒に踊りだす人が続出✨

カイニーナさんの歌の選曲がツボ過ぎて、カメラをないがしろにしてノってました🎶

アジュガールズのステージでは、一番前でカメラを撮るファンが続出📷

モマシーファイブは流石の存在感で、会場全体を巻き込み、みんなを笑顔に😆

会場内の畑では芋ほり体験も行われ、たくさんの人が袋いっぱいのサツマイモを抱え、ホクホクで帰っていかれていました🍠

そして、メインゲストの「トシキ・アベライフメモリープロジェクト」の皆さんが奏でるメロディーと、夕暮れに近づいた会場の雰囲気が最高でした😍

フィナーレを飾るのは古戸野神社神楽👹
会場内を練り歩く獅子舞が、各地で悲鳴を浴びていました😅
最後の餅まきも多くの方に参加していただきました😊

夕日の里の由縁となった美しい夕陽も見ることができて、今年も楽しい１日でした✨

SUP（サップ）とは、Stand Up Puddleの略。
ボードの上に立って、パドルを使い、水面をこいで

The Beskanbe beef Wetland has not been developed for a long time, so the Japan and one of the most original Nature have been preserved. And the Hanasaki Line runs through this vast Wetland. I happened to see a photo of the Hanasaki Line on the Internet, and I really wanted to see this scenery with my own eyes, so I researched the place and time, and finally I was able to see it.

別寒辺牛湿原は長い間開発の手が入らなかったため、日本で有数の原生的自然が残されています。
そしてこの広大な湿原の中を走る花咲線。

たまたまインターネットで見た花咲線の一枚の写真、この景色をどうしても自分の目で見たいと思い、場所や時間を調べて、やっと見ることが出来ました。

Amakusa West Coast 🍁 Autumn Kiln Tour — Introducing Participating Kilns / 06 Takahama-yaki Juho-gama

The 36th Amakusa West Coast Autumn Kiln Tour will take place over five days from Thursday, October 9 to Monday, October 13 (a public holiday), with six kilns in Reihoku and Amakusa City serving as venues. 😊
During the event, new works will be exhibited and sold, and special discount sales will take place, so please take this opportunity to visit and enjoy Amakusa ceramics and the scenery of the Amakusa West Coast. 🌊🌅
(Note: Tenjiku Gama will not participate. 🙇‍♀️🙇)

Introducing the participating kilns /

Heading south along the Amakusa West Coast brings you to the Takahama area. Takahama-yaki Juho-gama is a kiln that forms part of the Ueda family’s history; the Ueda family served for generations as village headmen in this area.

In the Meiji era, grape cultivation thrived in the Takahama district, and the area became widely known for “Takahama grapes.” The town was once described as being covered in vines. Though grape growing faced extinction at one point, the local promotion association’s efforts revived it, and you can now see grape trellises across the region.

Takahama-yaki Juho-gama is well known for its mirumon (seaweed motif), but the kiln’s painted grape designs also keep Takahama’s history alive. By the time the Autumn Kiln Tour takes place, the grape harvest will already be over, but it is delightful to reflect on the area’s past while admiring the grape motifs on the pottery.

From Thursday, October 9 to Sunday, October 12 during the event, Ueda Family House, adjacent to Juho-gama, will host a workshop by illustrator Yoko Koda, along with food and craft stalls. Please see the posted images for details.

「十六夜」とかいて「いざよい」とも読むんですね😲
初めて知りました😅
2日間とも明るい月が夜を照らしていました😍

This is 🌅 the light I saw at Mount Fuji Seven of my colleagues from the company took on the challenge of climbing Mt. Fuji, and although I felt like I was going to break down on the way, I was able to climb to the top safely, and I was so happy that tears overflowed 😭 I was able to get the long-awaited limited shuin stamp books &shuin stamps at the top of the Mount Fuji, and it was a wonderful memory that I will 😊 never forget

Happo Pond in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. I wanted to see the moonlit view of the three mountains of Hakuba reflected in Happo Pond, so I visited by night hike on a night when the moon was out and there was no wind. The view of Mt. Hakuba, Mt. Tsurushi, and Mt. Hakuba reflected in the Happo Pond is the best.

Japan view of Mt. Yarigatake from Okuho Takadake, the world-famous Northern Alps. The sun was rising, and the pitch-black world was illuminated with red. We climbed to the top of the mountain in the middle of the night and waited patiently in the freezing temperature of 1 degree Celsius. It was worth waiting while shivering in the cold, and we were able to welcome the best sunrise.

参加窯元の紹介／

天草西海岸を南下すると、高浜地区にたどり着きます。「高浜焼寿芳窯（じゅほうがま）」は、代々この地で庄屋を務めてきた上田家の歴史の一端を担う窯元です。

高浜地区では明治時代に葡萄の栽培が盛んに行われ、「高浜ぶどう」の名で広く知られていました。「ぶどうで覆われた町」と言われた程でしたが、一度は絶滅の危機に瀕したものの、地区の振興会の方々の尽力により復活を遂げ、今では地域のあちらこちらで葡萄棚の風景を見ることができます。

「高浜焼寿芳窯」といえば、海藻を模様化した「海松紋（みるもん）」がよく知られていますが、葡萄を描いた絵付けにも高浜の歴史が息づいています。秋の窯元めぐりの頃には葡萄の収穫はすでに終わっていますが、器に描かれた葡萄の意匠を眺めながら、この土地の歩みに思いを馳せてみるのも一興です。

期間中10月9日(木)～10月12日(日)には、寿芳窯に隣接する「上田家住宅」にてイラストレーター・コーダヨーコさんによるワークショップの他、飲食や雑貨の販売も行われます。詳細は投稿画像をご覧ください。

Introducing the participating kilns /

Odatoko lies south along the Amakusa West Coast at the point where the road bends toward the sea. Perched to overlook a calm shoreline popular with divers and kayakers, Amakusa Karatsu Gozakameyama Kiln stands here. Previously known and loved as Amakusa Karatsu Jurō Kiln, it has reverted this autumn to its former name, Amakusa Karatsu Gozakameyama Kiln.

The exhibition room displays pottery reflecting the distinct personalities of the married couple. Mr. Kameyama Go trained in Karatsu, famed for Karatsu ware, while his wife, Sanae Kameyama, studied ceramics at the pottery college in Arita. Even within Saga Prefecture, Karatsu and Arita ceramics differ greatly in materials and characteristics — clay or stone, pottery or porcelain.

Mr. Go’s pieces attract the eye with striking forms and tranquil, nature-like patterns woven from clay and glazes. The lines on his pottery, reminiscent of classical Karatsu motifs, embody a ‘‘beauty of subtraction.’’ Ms. Sanae uses a blue pigment called gosu to paint modern, expressive designs by underglaze before applying glaze. Her work carries a warm charm that brings a smile to the viewer’s face.

Although they work with opposite materials, the couple’s distinct styles complement each other. These works arise precisely because Amakusa offers both types of materials. The exhibition room, filled with vessels nurtured by Amakusa’s nature, radiates an unexpectedly rich harmony. Please pick them up and savor their world.
