[Limited to one person per day!] Exclusive hire of Kogenji Temple main hall with one of Japan’s largest carved ceiling dragons — an exquisite relaxation experience Indulge in a private viewing of one of the country’s largest painted carved ceiling artworks. Experience sublime head relaxation under the watchful gaze of a dragon. Book here↓ https://x.gd/Zz7P9... ========================================= Kogenji Temple has served as a Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha temple for 426 years. The main hall was destroyed in the Satsuma Rebellion in Meiji 10 (1877). The current ceiling dragon in the main hall was created to recreate the cloud-dragon painting that was said to have once adorned the ceiling. Measuring 11 meters wide by 8 meters long and weighing a total of 800 kg, the work combines Souhakuryu, Hanamaru, and Higo Rokka and ranks among the largest in Japan. Its layered composition of carved colorwork and painting is unique. The best way to admire the ceiling dragon painted overhead is to lie back and look up!! For this plan, a bed is placed directly beneath the carved painted ceiling while Hanae Yamamoto, a therapist based in Kikuchi City, performs the treatment. By night, the ceiling carving lit by soft light reveals shadows and highlights that give it a different character from daytime. Please enjoy an exquisite relaxation experience as you luxuriate in this dreamlike space all to yourself. [About the Practitioner] Hanae Yamamoto (Yamamoto Hanae) Based in Kikuchi City. In Hinomotoichi's Calligraphy Trial Plan, students do not pick up a brush and start writing immediately after the lesson begins.  Instead, we begin by explaining about the culture of calligraphy and the history of calligraphy in Japan. This is because it helps them to better understand the difference between Japanese calligraphy and caligraphy, which is a form of character decoration that also exists in other countries, and to appreciate the beauty of the Japanese language. #calligraphy #kanji #shodo

The reason why foreigners are interested in the Japanese language is "The beauty of the Japanese language. I often hear that the reason why foreigners are interested in the Japanese language is "the beauty of the Japanese language. Using the calligraphy skills learned through the calligraphy experience, students write their favorite kanji characters on fans and hanging scrolls of their choice. The master calligrapher will then take the kanji back to your bag with his expert brush strokes. Since each kanji character has multiple meanings, it is important to know what other meanings they have. Knowing the meaning will make the bag shine. #brush #kanji #shodo #travelmemories #culturalexperience

Tateyama Mountain Ranges seen from the Ameharu Coast 2023.12.09 The Oniwa and Tateyama mountain ranges over the sea are truly superb Spots. The view of mountains with an Elevation of 3,000 meters across the sea is a superb view that is difficult to see in the world. A scenic spot related to Manyo, Ameharu Coast. The poet of Manyo, Oban Iemochi, loved this rainy landscape and sang many songs. The beautiful scenery is the same now as it was in the past, and the magnificent view of the reef seen from the beach and the 3,000m-class Tateyama mountain ranges seen over Toyama Bay is exceptional. It's breathtaking. "Yoshitsune Rock", where Minamoto Yoshitsune waited for the rain to clear on his way to Oshu, is also the origin of the place name "Ameharu". (From Toyama's website)

【Making miso】 The other day, I witnessed the making of miso. There were people making miso for their own eating, and it was a small gathering of local Adult and children from the nursery school. At the nursery school in Nishiokoppe Village, vegetables are grown in the field. Some of the crops we grew this year were soybeans. "Miso is made from soybeans, isn't it?" "What else is made of soybeans?" Picture book while reading Combined with our own experience, we think about soybeans and miso. How to get started Crush the soybeans that have been boiled beforehand. Put the soybeans in the mincer When you turn the handle around, the beans become a paste. There are also those who hold down the foundation of the mincer Turning the steering wheel is also a very force-intensive task. The little makers crush the beans with great force and effort. Mix salt and glue, mix in soybeans Throw the miso dama you made into the barrel. The beans that were shiny and sparkling Over the course of about an hour and a half, it became smoother. From the time you make miso to the time you eat it It would take more than six months. In the gentle mellow aroma of soybeans Do you want to keep it until next year? Or so I thought. One of the students brought us the miso we had prepared last year, so we all had miso soup. For me, it was a matter of course to buy miso. It makes me realize that I have the option of "creating" by myself. For the miso prepared this year Let them get a good night's sleep until next year. #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Miso making #Miso #Tezukuri #Nursery school #Soybean #Field #Tree education #Miso soup
