Long time no see. I would like to introduce ^^/ a park called Hangankan Forest Park in Niikappu, which is recommended for the coming season The Judge's Forest Park is a large rock wall with a vast site area of about 66 hectares. ●Campsite ●Field Athletic ● A promenade where you can stroll through the primeval forest of broad-leaved trees ● Plantain trillium growing in large clusters around May --Judge's Cape where you can overlook the endless Pacific Ocean and urban areas and so on! The name "Judge's Palace" was given based on the following legend: "There is a sad legend that about 800 years ago, Judge Minamoto Kuro Yoshitsune fled the persecution of his brother Yoritomo and fled to the land of Ezo, built a mansion in this critical place, and rested himself, and there is a sad legend that Pirikamenoko, who fell in love with Yoshitsune, left the world against the opposition of his parents and threw himself from here." Judge's Pavilion = It means the place where Judge Yoshitsune Minamoto Kuro built the building. It is also said that "in the 9th year of Kanbun, the hero of Shibechari, Shakshine, left a sad story of being murdered, and at the end of the Edo period, the shogunate's meeting place was located." It's romantic to think that a historical figure might have stood in the same place. It takes about 40 minutes to go around the promenade, but you can take a walk or do a trail run while admiring the precious flowers and wild birds that live in the untouched nature. At the end of the promenade, Cape Judge, where you can overlook the endless Pacific Ocean and the urban area of Niikappu, is a must-visit spot. The Sunset over the Pacific Ocean seen from Cape Judge is one of the best views in Hidaka! The powerful orange color of the Sunset is powerful and sinks into the sea! ^^ I think you can feel the splendor of nature that cannot be created by man-made objects, such as the speed of the passage and the gradation of orange and the darkness of the night. By the way, at Niikappu Hot spring Hotel Hills in the town, you can enjoy the spectacular view while taking an open-air bath! ^^! It is also recommended to play or take a walk in the Judge's Palace Forest Park, and then go into the Hot spring to sweat it out and watch the Sunset go down *^^* 【Judge's Pavilion Forest Park】 Address: Niikappu Takae along National Route 235. About 3 minutes by car from the Roadside Station. ) Opening hours: The park is open 24 hours a day, all year round campgrounds are open from late April ~ end of October 《Inquiry》 Town planning group, Planning Division Phone: 0146-47-2498 0146-47-2193 for campsites E-mail:teijyu@niikappu.jp

Sacred place, Saiba Ontake This sacred site, which is registered as a World Heritage Site, is located in a natural environment full of lush trees, and is said to be the place where the highest ranking priestess of the Ryukyu Kingdom prayed for the nation. Originally, it was a sanctuary where men were forbidden, and it is said that some places of worship in Saiba Ontake were given the same names as the rooms in Shuri Castle, which shows the roles of male and female societies that form the two sides of the Ryukyu Kingdom, and the strength of their ties. The location of this photo is the innermost place of worship "Sangui", which exists further back in the triangular space created by two huge boulders. On this day, it was raining and windy strongly, but the weather improved on the way, and by the time we arrived at Sankori, the sun was shining brightly. The light is so strong that the sunlight filtering through the trees creates a clear contrast pattern on the ground. As the sea breeze shook the trees, a strong light flew into the viewfinder, but I didn't care. Flares, ghosts, and large glows, usually NG as photos. But this is a sanctuary. I felt that my heart was shaken by the overflow of light. The photographs, which should have been unusual, were engraved as vivid memories.

2024-04-26 Goryokaku in full bloom I didn't make it in time for the Spring Photocon, but Goryokaku has great significance from the perspective of Japanese history, so I will apply here. This is Goryokaku in full bloom of cherry blossoms taken from Goryokaku Tower with a 17mm lens. Initially, the expected full bloom date was 4/27. 4/26 Moved → Tokyo to Hakodate Photo taken on 4/27 4/28 Returned to Tokyo I had secured a bullet train and an inn according to the schedule, but the expected date of full bloom was getting earlier and earlier ' ∀' I forcibly took a picture on 4/26 when the Shinkansen flight on 4/26, which was just scheduled for a moving day, was brought forward and kept in full bloom w Goryokaku, the site of the last fierce battle of the Boshin War, has great historical value as a Western-style bastion in Japan. At this time of year, it also shows a special scenery.

Nagawacho, Nagano Prefecture, lies in central Nagano with abundant nature and a living history. ◇ History of Nagawacho, Nagano Prefecture When the Nakasendo route linking Edo and Kyoto ran through the area in the Edo period, Nagawacho hosted two post towns, Nagakubo-juku and Wada-juku, whose traces remain as tourist spots today. ・Nakasendo: 28th Station Wada-juku Located at the foot of Wada Pass, a difficult section with about an 800-meter elevation change on the Nakasendo, many travelers rested and restored their energy here. The nationally designated historic sites Wada-juku Main Camp, Rekishi no Michi Shiryokan Kawachiya, and Daikokuya stand side by side, letting you feel the atmosphere of the Edo period. ・Nakasendo: 17th Station Nagakubo-juku In the Edo period there were 43 inns, making it the second largest of the 26 post towns in Shinano. Hoshikuso Pass in Nagawacho, Nagano Prefecture, has been a source of obsidian for ages, and many people lived there. In June 2020 a direct-sales shop with an Edo-period–style exterior, Marche Kokuyo, opened. ・Kokuyo Water Near the tollgate of the Wada Pass toll road, the famous water plaza springs from bedrock filtered through obsidian. It is listed among Shinshu’s 37 Famous Waters. ・Nagato Hot Spring Yasuragi no Yu This day‑use hot spring facility adjacent to Roadside Station Marumero No Eki Nagato features a sodium sulfate spring, one of Japan’s three renowned “beauty” spring types. There is an open‑air bath and a source‑flowing “kama bath.” ・Wadashuku Onsen Fureai no Yu A day‑use hot spring located within the vast sports park Yuyu Park. The spring quality is calcium–sodium sulfate. From the azumaya‑style open‑air bath you can enjoy seasonal scenery. ・Obsidian Experience Museum Excavation results are presented clearly through actual stone tools, animations, and models. ・Hoshikuso-kan Obsidian Mine Exhibition Room Projection mapping directly onto strata illustrates Jomon‑period obsidian mining revealed by excavations, making the process easy to understand. ※Visitors must register at the Obsidian Experience Museum before entering. ・Blanche Takayama Ski Resort A skier‑only resort boasting an 80% clear‑sky rate.
