The Furuichi Kofun Cluster, which stretches for about 4 kilometers from Fujiidera City to Habikino City, is a group of burial mounds that represent Japanese kofun culture. It consists of a total of 123 burial mounds, including six huge anterior and posterior burial mounds, and together with the Mozu burial mounds in Sakai City, it was decided to register it as the 23rd World Cultural Heritage Site in Japan in the first year of Reiwa.
