November 22, 2025 The prefectural border between Noda City, Chiba Prefecture and Sakaimachi, Ibaraki Prefecture I photographed the sunset from the Tone River embankment on the Sakaimachi side, looking toward Kanseki-jō Castle 🏯. Behind the castle stood Mt. Fuji 🗻, and above it hung Yuzuki 🌕. I savored late autumn with the crimson sunset and moon-viewing.

Urabandai in Fukushima is one of my most favorite autumn destination.

The autumn in Urabandai, Fukushima is amazing. I took this photo during a figgy day near lake Hibara. The small island inside the lake also full of autum colors which makes the frame more beautiful. Mist, autumn colors and lake, these are all what i can even imagined. It was so exciting and eye-shoothing. After thus trip I was really refreshed and energized again.

October 25, 2025 Nagano City Kinasa Okususobana Nature Garden I wandered through the park to enjoy the autumn leaves. The forest stretched as far as I could see, dyed in fall colors. Several ponds and wetlands dot the area. On this day I was especially drawn to Yoshiike, a breeding site for the black salamander and the forest green tree frog. Leaves sank into the pond while reflections added depth to the scene.

Amidst the gentle rain, the silhouette of a majestic mountain looms over the serene Lake Hibara, creating a breathtaking backdrop. As I sit by the lake’s edge, the tranquil atmosphere envelops me, turning this moment into something truly unforgettable. The tiny islands in the distance adds a touch of magic, making the scene feel like a painting come to life.

Authentic pottery making activities began in 2006 (Heisei 18). In this interview, Mr. Hayashida, the owner of the Workshop, showed us one of the techniques called "string making" that does not use a potter's wheel. "String-making" is a method of stacking clay in the form of strings and shaping them. Mr. Hayashida skillfully strings the "black mud soil" and piles it up in a relaxed manner. The scene is as if time is streaming peacefully, and just looking at it soothes my heart. When firing vessels by carbonization firing, in order to take advantage of the Nature shades created by the way the flame hits, no glaze is applied to the outside to bring out the original Texture/character of the soil. The new work recommended for this "Autumn Kiln Tour" is a vessel made with the "Color Itchin" technique, in which the "Itchin" pattern is colored in blue with the image of the sea on the coast of the Amakusa Saikai. Itchin looks cute, but it is actually the crystallization of delicate technology and labor.
