Open only two days a week!? 😍 Three hidden gem bakeries in Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture you’ll want to go out of your way to visit 🥐💞 Read the article here 🔽 https://www.shobara-info.com/report/5461... As a foodie in my 30s who loves sweets, I adore hunting for places that aren’t “ordinary.” In Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, there are hidden bakeries that operate as mobile vendors or only open on limited days. I actually visited them and will introduce them here! Be sure to check the Shobara Tourist Navi website’s “Editorial Report”!

Iwanai Tourism Association
Jan. 13, 2026
On Wednesday, January 14, 2026 and Thursday, January 15, 2026, we will hold an Iwanai Onsen PR event on the 2nd floor Center Plaza of New Chitose Airport. Experience onsen with a hand bath ♨ Taste craft beer from Iwanai-cho 🍺 Information about the onsen and town tour “DISCOVER IWANAI”, and a small gift for those who complete our survey♪ Iwanai Onsen sits right next to the Niseko area, a quiet port town onsen surrounded by sea and mountains ♨ Its waters are nationally praised for beautifying the skin. Rather than a bustling tourist spot, it is a place for those who want to spend quiet, unhurried time with the onsen. Meet us at the airport, and next, meet the town in person. Whether you live nearby or are between connections, please drop by casually!!! Local specialty products will also be on sale at the event booth. Take this opportunity to learn about Iwanai-cho!!

At a quiet temple in Kawagoe, piles of weathered Daruma rest in one place, their wishes fulfilled. Each New Year, people return their old Daruma here, a ritual of gratitude and release. In the frame, an elderly woman gently places hers atop the others, bowing slightly—an act she learned as a child. Once, her parents brought her; later, she brought her children. The Daruma come and go, but the tradition remains, passed patiently from old to young, year after year. Location: Kitain temple, Kawagoe, Saitama.
