Today I love to recommend a place in Tokyo which is Yushima Tenjin Shrine. Spring in Japan isn't just about enjoying the cherry blossoms, spring begins with the beautiful fragrance of plum blossoms, and you can witness the ume matsuri, or plum festival at Yushima Tenjin Shrine. It is near the Ueno park area and this festival usually held in 1st week of March every year. Ume lasts much longer than sakura, so its beauty can be enjoyed for a long time. Around 300 plum blossom trees are spread over the temple premises which are visited by many visitors every day. Besides, during this festival, various cultural events are held on the temple ground during the holidays.

The weeping cherry blossoms in Kamihocchimachi, Numata City, Gunma Prefecture. They are located on a mound, with a Jizo statue at the base, and in the background, you can see the remaining snow on Joshu Hotaka Mountain. This is one of my favorite photography spots. The weeping cherry blossom, known as Hatsuchi no Jizo Zakura, is in full bloom. On a clear day, the Jizo statue served as a model for my photos. The parking area is small, making it a landscape in the satoyama that I wish to cherish.

群馬県沼田市上発知町のしだれ桜。塚の上にあり、根元にはお地蔵様がいて、背後に残雪の上州武尊山がみえる、私の大好きな撮影スポットです。発知の地蔵桜と言われるしだれ桜が満開。快晴の中、お地蔵様がモデルになってくれましたので、撮影してきました。駐車場も狭く、大切にしたい里山の風景です。

I took photos at Ashikaga Flower Park in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, which is famous for its wisteria flowers and illuminations. Ashikaga Flower Park offers various flowers throughout the seasons, including roses, water lilies, and tulips, all of which bloom beautifully on a grand scale. Although it had rained until the morning, the weather cleared up, allowing me to see droplets on the early-blooming tulips, truly capturing the essence of spring.

栃木県足利市の藤の花やイルミネーションで有名な、あしかがフラワーパークで撮影しました。あしかがフラワーパークは、季節ごとに、バラの花やスイレン、チューリップなど色々な花が楽しめます。どの花を撮影に来ても規模が大きく見事に咲いています。この日は、朝まで雨が降っていたのですが、快晴になりましたので、少し早かったチューリップに雫がついていて、春を感じられました。

I took this photo at the Akagi Kogen Service Area on the Kan-etsu Expressway. I happened to stop by and was able to see the beautiful Joshu Hotakayama and Komagatake with their remaining snow. I included the cherry blossoms that were blooming at the service area in the shot. It turned out to be a photo that captures the feeling of "the arrival of spring."

関越自動車道の赤城高原サービスエリアで撮影しました。たまたま立ち寄ったのですが、残雪の残る上州武尊山や駒ケ岳がきれいに見られました。サービスエリアに咲いていた桜を入れて撮影してきました。「春の訪れ」を感じられた写真になりました。

A Yoshi burning event heralding spring took place in Oramachi, Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture. The Yoshi burning at Tatara Swamp is impressive as it can be viewed up close. We felt the heat of the flames while capturing photos, covered in soot. Tatara Swamp is also famous as a stopover for swans, but this year, perhaps due to the warm weather, there were hardly any swans present. However, egrets, ducks, and weasels were seen scurrying around.

群馬県館林市邑楽町で春を告げるヨシ焼きが行われました。多々良沼のヨシ焼きは、近くで見られるため迫力満点です。炎の熱さを感じ、ススをかぶりながらの撮影でした。多々良沼は白鳥の飛来地でも有名ですが、今年は暖かかったからか白鳥はほとんどいませんでしたが、シラサギやカモ、イタチなどが逃げ回っていました。

On a morning after the rain, the cherry blossoms scattered on the transparent roof of the parking lot appeared to overlap like a multiple exposure, creating a stunning view. Even when the flowers fall, they remain beautiful.

I spotted a single boat coming toward me from the calm waters of the Hiuchi Nada sea, feeling as if it was celebrating the start of a new season and the beginning of my camera journey.

SNSで話題になっていた、山口県下松市の笠戸島にある「潮風ガーデン」。
カメラを買って初めての桜撮影で、この鮮やかな春の情景に出会いました。
穏やかな瀬戸内海からこちらへ向かってくる一隻の船を見つけ、まるで新しい季節の始まりや、私のカメラライフの門出を祝福してくれているかのような心地でシャッターを切りました。

奈良にある弥生時代の唐古・鍵遺跡の唐古池の周囲に植えられた桜並木は、2000年前には見られなかったかもしれないが、当時を偲ばせてくれるような雰囲気を感じさせてくれる風景である。

I took a photo under the cherry tree during the last spring break of middle school. The sight of the Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker looking up seemed as if it was enjoying the cherry blossoms, making me feel like it was in a "front-row seat for cherry blossom viewing." I wanted to convey that such gentle creatures are nearby among the Cherry Blossom Tree-lined Path close to my home.

コゲラが上を見上げている様子が、まるで桜を楽しんでいるように見えて、「お花見の特等席」にいるようだと感じました。
家の近くの桜並木の中のに、こんなやさしい生き物が身近にいることを伝えたいと思いました。

A family trip to Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, with four generations. I thought it might be a bit late in the season, but when we arrived, we were greeted by fully bloomed cherry blossoms. The combination of the sky, the castle, and the cherry blossoms created a breathtaking view. For my four-month-old daughter, it was her first experience with cherry blossoms. It seemed like she was leaning out of her carrier more than usual, truly enjoying the beauty of the blossoms.

家族4世代で長野県諏訪市へ旅行。少し時期が遅かったかな…と思い行ってみると満開の桜が迎えてくれました🌸空と、お城と、桜がとてもマッチしていて圧巻の景色でした。生後4ヶ月の娘にとっては初めての桜。心なしかいつもより抱っこ紐から身を乗り出していて、桜を満喫していたようです。
