Imamiya Shrine Imamiya Shrine, located in the western district of Atami, has been revered since ancient times as a shrine of wish fulfillment. The gods of the festival are the chief god of things and the chief god of the great country. It was founded very old, more than 1700 years ago, and is said to have been the reign of Emperor Hitoku. The legend of Minamoto no Yoritomo is also well known. When Minamoto no Yoritomo was exiled to Izu, when he wandered into the mountains of Atami, he prayed to the shrine under the camphor tree and was able to escape from his pursuers safely. Every year on October 19th and 20th, we hold a grand festival. Former Kiya Takeshi Family Residence / Okinawa World Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town Okinawa World is located in Nanjo City in the southern part of Okinawa Prefecture. It is a registered tangible cultural property located in the castle town of the Ryukyu Kingdom, where red-tiled kominka houses that recreate the townscape of the Ryukyu dynasty are lined up. It is a private house built in the late Meiji era, and it is a building that miraculously survived the ravages of war in the most intense place during the war. (It was moved here from its original location.) It is now used as a hands-on workshop. There were quite a few people who experienced it ^^ It is a valuable building that I would like to preserve in the future.

Former Kiya Takeshi Family Residence / Okinawa World Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town Okinawa World is located in Nanjo City in the southern part of Okinawa Prefecture. I went to the castle town of the Ryukyu Kingdom, which reproduces the townscape of the Ryukyu Dynasty era lined with red tile kominka, which is a registered tangible cultural property. The building in the photo is a private house that miraculously survived the ravages of war and was the site of the most intense ground battle of the Pacific War. On the pillars on the side of the corridor, the scars of shells received during the war were still vivid. (The building was moved here from its original location.) Since it was relocated, it has been used as a hands-on workshop. A very valuable building that tells the history of the Battle of Okinawa, I want to preserve it for a long time.

Kiunkaku Kiunkaku is based on a famous residence built as a villa in 1919 (Taisho 8) and praised as "Atami's Three Great Villas". In 1947 (1947 (Showa 22)), it was reborn as a ryokan, and as a representative lodging of Atami, it has welcomed many guests for lodging nights, and has been loved by Japan's leading literary figures such as Yuzo Yamamoto, Naoya Shiga, Junichiro Tanizaki, Osamu Dazai, Seiichi Funahashi, and Taijun Takeda. It is currently open to the public as a cultural property of Atami City. A lush garden that doesn't look like an urban area. Away from the main building (Japanese-style) that preserves the beauty of Japanese houses. A Western-style building with a unique atmosphere that fuses Japanese, Chinese, European, and other decorations and styles. Kinomiya Shrine Kunomiya Shrine has been worshipped for a long time as a god of good fortune and good luck. Next to the main shrine is a sacred tree of a large camphor tree that is 2,100 years old and has a trunk thickness of 24 meters, which has been designated as a national natural monument, and is also famous as a power spot. It is said that if you go around the trunk, the lifespan will be extended by one year, and many worshippers visit to pray for longevity, healing of illness, and health in order to appreciate the vitality of this tree. It is also said that people who have wishes will be able to make their wishes if they go around without telling anyone what they think. It is lit up at night, and you can enjoy each expression in the morning, noon, and night. The annual festival is held on July 14~16 every year.
