At the request of an acquaintance, I experienced a late sap (sap) water collection. I was talking about "maybe it won't come out anymore?", but I was able to collect about 500 ml of one of the two bottles in one hour. (The other one is about 100ml) By the way, I also experimented with a birch hammock, which I had been interested in for a long time. "Sleeping comfort is outstanding!" 👍✨ Would you like to ride it? If you have a lot of requests, I will consider it as a summer experience. #Hokkaido #Tokachi #Shintoku Town #Shintoku Tourism Association #Karikatsu Plateau #Karikachi Kogen Park #Route 38 #Hokkaido Garden Highway #Birch #Birch sap (sap) water #Birch sap (sap) water collection experience #Hammock #Summer Events

The "Birch Sap Water Collection Experience" at Karikachi Kogen Park will also end this weekend on Sunday, the 14th. There were more applications for participation than expected, and the days of the preparatory ⇒ experience ⇒ the preparatory ⇒ experience. On weekends, all reservations are booked except for the Sunday afternoon session, so we are looking for those who wish to "visit" birch sap water collection. Even though it is called recruitment, there is no application or participation fee. All you have to do is actually see how easy it is to collect. If you are passing by, please stop by to see if you have time. Saturday, April 13 10 ~ 11 o'clock and 14 ~ 15 o'clock (2 times) April 14 (Sun) From 10 o'clock ~ 11 o'clock, it will be held from 14 o'clock if there is a reservation, but if not, it will be canceled. * We are also looking for participants for the afternoon session. This is an experience that you should definitely see not only for those in Hokkaido but also for those who come to Hokkaido for sightseeing!

For the rehearsal of the birch sap water collection experience that will start the day after tomorrow, we will do a final check of the flow at the site. I was worried because it snowed the day before yesterday, but thanks to the warmth today, I was relieved by the sap that oozes out when I make a hole in the birch. It seems that it was still a little early for full-scale collection, and the sap that came out was about 50 ml in one hour. From now until the end of the week, the daytime temperature is forecast to exceed 10 degrees Celsius, so I think the amount of collection will stabilize. The birch sap water collection experience will be held from the 5th (Friday) to the 14th (Sunday) of this month, and reservations can be made even the day before. If you are interested, please join us. In addition, those who are only interested in visiting are welcome. * If there are no participants, there will be no event, so please contact the tourism association in advance. For details, please contact the Shintoku Tourism Association [0156-64-0522].
