Kagawa Prefecture Megijima "Sumiyoshi Shrine Grand Festival" festival dedicated to the god of the island – The shrine festival at Megijima island There is a surprisingly unknown island culture Kagawa Prefecture and in Takamatsu City Megijima and Ogijima take turns holding a summer festival every year, carrying a drum stand made of ropes handed down in Isshi Sōden and parading around the island. As the name suggests, the god of the island is a woman, and it has been handed down as a festival forbidden to women since ancient times so as not to be jealous. Drum stands are dropped and rolled wildly toward the gods, and at the end of the festival, the drum stands go into the sea. It seemed difficult to go through the small torii gate.

Was in Sapporo over the weekend for an errand and had enough time to stop by a few places before having to leave. Took a walk through Nakajima Park early in the morning and saw a turtle and a heron relaxing by one of the ponds. There were also a bunch of ducks enjoying breakfast in the grass nearby. Also managed to stop by Hokkaido Shrine and and the Sapporo Beer Museum, both of which were very cool. I really liked the architecture of Hokkaido Shrine, and it was fun reading the signs to read about the different emperors that had visited the shrine and in what year. The beer museum was fun as well. Learning about all the history was really cool, and seeing the different advertisements used throughout the years was pretty neat as well. Ended up buying matching cups and I got a shirt as well. Hokkaido Shrine and the Sapporo Beer Museum are definitely two of the best spots to visit in Sapporo if you ask me. I would have liked to visit Shiroi Koibito Park as well, but they were already closed by the time we were able to visit, so I guess that’ll have to wait for next time. Was a great time overall.

Omihachiman / Shiga Omihachiman / Shiga Although it was not that far away, for some reason I had not visited Omihachiman. When I went there, I was so attracted by the beautiful cityscape and river that I wondered why I hadn't been there before. The cloudy sky finally cleared up, and it was a very good memory. Everyone! Omihachiman is not so far away, but for some reason I had not visited there before. When I finally went there, I was so charmed by the beautiful cityscape and the river that I wondered why I had never been there before. The cloudy sky cleared up at the end of the tour, and it became a very good memory for me. I hope you will visit there, too!

Takekoma Shrine, located in the center of Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, is a venerable Inari shrine that is counted as one of the three major Inari shrines in Japan. Every year from July ~ the end of August, "Summer Visits" are held here, and during the period, glass wind chimes and original wind chimes of white foxes are displayed on the approach to the shrine grounds, and summer attire that feels cool is applied. The wind chimes swaying in the wind play a summery tone, so you will feel cool.

I took this photo at a place called Oiwa Shrine in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto Prefecture.

It is not popular because it is a little far from the station, and it is a quiet place surrounded by lush trees.

The sunlight shining from the cloudy sky illuminated the torii gate, giving off an even more mysterious atmosphere.

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce a post by "y.k." The harmony between the sacred atmosphere of the torii gate and the kimono is impressive. Inuyama Castle in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, is a tourist attraction that is loved as a symbol of Inuyama City. It is the oldest wooden castle tower in the Japan built by Oda Nobuyasu and is designated as a national treasure. In spring, there are many highlights such as the Inuyama Festival and cherry blossoms. The Inuyama Festival is usually held on the first Saturday and Sunday of April. The sight of the 8-meter-high Yama parading around is a masterpiece. The traditional doll performances, flutes and drums are also one of the attractions. Around Inuyama Castle, which is built along the Kiso River, about 400 Yoshino cherry trees are planted, and it is also a popular cherry blossom viewing spot. In late March ~ early April, when the best time to see them is in full bloom, it is crowded with cherry blossom viewers. Sanko Inari Shrine, located at the foot of Inuyama Castle, is a shrine that is a hot topic on SNS for its benefits of matchmaking. The street that is the shortcut to Inuyama Castle is lined with red torii gates, and the scenery is a popular photo spot. In addition, love lotteries, amulets, and the pink heart ema hanging place at the end of the torii gate are also gaining popularity. Located south of Inuyama Castle, Showa Yokocho is a commercial facility that opened in April 2012 and offers a good old-fashioned atmosphere. There are 14 restaurants and game facilities (as of April 2023). There are dango shops, bakeries, skewer cutlets, etc., and it is recommended for eating while walking. ◆National Treasure Inuyama Castle◆ 【Address】〒84-0082 Aichi-ken, Inuyama-shi, Inuyama Kita Kokan 65-2 【Access】About 25 minutes from Nagoya Station by Meitetsu Rapid Limited Express 【Parking lot】Available (charged) For more information, please visit the official website.
