Was walking through Shimokitazawa the other day and found some really cool street art on the shutter of some shop or something (not really sure what the building was). Just thought it was cool to see this. Don't see much street art in Japan, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as usually it involves vandalism, but this doesn't look to be vandalism, although I could be wrong. Either way I think it's a nice improvement to the empty shutters and definitely adds a little spice to the area. Aesthetically I'm a huge fan since I enjoy learning about Japanese history, especially samurai, swords, etc., even if this is a fantastical rendition of the likes you'd find in some anime or manga. Shimokitazawa is a pretty cool place though. It seems like a lot of younger people go shopping in the area and there's a lot of restaurants as well. If you're into coffee, cafes, and unique shops with trinkets, etc. it's an enjoyable place to visit. Really trendy

Dropped by a cafe near Oji Station the other day and ordered a small chocolate cake and a tea. It looks strikingly similar to the one I had at the pasta restaurant a few days ago, with very minor differences lol. I didn't take a photo of the tea unfortunately, I was too focused on eating the cake😅. I suppose it's a popular dessert combination as it seems quite easy but delicious at the same time. The cafe is called Dining Cafe Tagen (ダイニング カフェTAGEN). When I passed it on Halloween they were opening the large doors at the front of the shop and preparing some sort of Halloween event, although I wasn't able to see exactly what was going on with it. They had a big speaker as well, so maybe they were going to sing and give candy away lol. I'm not really sure though. I think they were wearing costumes as well, it looked pretty interesting. It's a nice place though. It can be a bit cramped at times but otherwise it's a nice place to go for a coffee and dessert if you're in the area. You can also take the streetcar (Tokyo Sakura Tram) to get there as well which is a plus!

That is one beautiful looking chandelier. I can imagine it cost quite a bit of money. Incidentally I'd never seen the kanji for Yebisu before, nor had I heard of Yebisu Garden Place. Looks like a really awesome place to go for dinner or lunch as it has some nice restaurants and cafes (both high-class and reasonably priced which is nice). Probably be nice to go for a date actually. Do some shopping and then stop by for dinner or even just go for lunch and then walk around the area and see everything there is. I guess there's an art museum and a theatre as well, so yeah this place is like a 10/10 for going on dates probably lol. I'd like to check out the beer museum personally; sounds pretty interesting and you can get samples too if you pay a small fee it looks like

It was a chandelier that seemed to remind me of the now popular Resident Evil Village ^^ I am currently playing.

Wow, that's awesome. I never would have expected that Loui Vuitton would open a café. Surprised I didn't hear about this sooner tbh. Not surprising that they opened in Japan though. Japan has the best cafe's I've ever been to, bar none, so I can imagine that the food is just out of this world as well. It's interesting they went for a French dining restaurant/café instead of just a restaurant, but maybe they decided to go with a café because of Japan's awesome café culture. I'd love to check this place out, but it might be a liiittle bit above my budget so that'll probably have to wait unfortunately😅 It looks like those are truffles in the picture too so I don't even want to know how much that box itself is worth😂
