Yesterday, Saturday, March 16, firefly larvae were released in the Hatsukawa River in Atami Ume Plum Garden. Every year, the children of Baien Town helped us! It is said that there are about 50 types of fireflies in Japan. Representative of Japan is the firefly "Genji Firefly" that is released in Atami, and the hatched larvae are fed Kawanina about once a month to raise them, and the terminal larvae that have reached 2~3 centimeters are released. These larvae come ashore from the river at night when the humidity is high from mid to late April and burrow into the soil, creating an oval-shaped "earthen cocoon". After that, it becomes a snail in the "earthen cocoon", and in late May - early June it becomes an adult insect. This year, we will hold a "Firefly Viewing Evening" from 6/1 Sat ~ 9 Sun. Please take a look at the pale light of fireflies that can only be seen at this time of year.

Tokachi River Onsen in the morning Hello! It's March and it's getting warmer little by little, but the mornings here in Otofuke are still cold. The temperature at 5 a.m. on the day of shooting was -12.1 degrees Celsius. There was river fog, and the Tokachi Chuo Bridge was hidden. After sunrise, the river fog disappears and the bridge becomes clear! At 7 o'clock, we were able 😊 to see the majestic Hidaka Mountains beautifully There was no wind that day, so I was able to see the hot air balloons going up. Even if it's cold, seeing this kind of scenery will get you excited! Please 😊 come and see the scenery unique to this time of year

Buds Okame cherry blossoms along Along Daisen New Road ... The peak has passed The temperature is rising, and spring is finally here. It is almost time until the day when you can see the flowers that everyone has been waiting for. As for the staff's prediction, I think that the best time to see flowers will be around the 20th. In the precincts of Hinata Yakushi, a signboard cat was running around.

Hello, this 😊 is Koshu Local cuisine Waraji. Shosenkyo Gorge is getting warmer in March, and I gradually feel the arrival of Spring. Koshu Local cuisine Waraji no kominka is a renovated historic building from the Edo period about 150 years ago. In addition, precious wood is used for the pillars and tables, so please feel the warmth of the wood and enjoy our recommended exquisite menu. In particular, the eels prepared by veteran craftsmen are Thick meat and plump, and if you mix them with the sweet and spicy secret sauce, there is no doubt that the chopsticks will advance. We will prepare a hot meal for you and look forward 😃 to it

Thirteen years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake This photo was taken on April 3, 2018 It is a row of cherry blossom trees in the night forest of Tomioka Town, Fukushima Prefecture. The Great East Japan Earthquake made it difficult to return home. Decontamination work has progressed, and in this year, Part of the tree-lined area has been opened to the public. At that time, only the opening of short straight roads Surrounding shops and houses are barricaded It was an enclosed ghost town I think I stayed for more than an hour. It's not a time to attract tourism There are almost no people who look like tourists. I only saw a few groups of people who seemed to be locals. I revisited it in March 2021. Tomioka Town became an outpost for reconstruction It's a very lively town. The open area has been greatly expanded. The branches of the cherry blossoms are beautifully selected. It was also prepared to be lit up. Realizing that reconstruction is progressing I remember how happy I was. The Noto Peninsula, where there is no fear of radiation, Reconstruction should be faster Good luck Hokuriku, good luck Tohoku.
