Around the end of June, seasonal alpine plants such as Renge azalea, daylily sedge, and pine beetle dye the green meadow in a variety of colors. Mt. Fuji, the Alps, the Yatsugatake mountain range, and other famous peaks that Japan is proud of are also overlooked. In addition, the Kirigamine Highlands is also known as the birthplace of Japan gliders, as it is suitable for flying gliders with abundant updrafts in the area. In the Kirigamine, the three major marshes of the Kirigamine are formed by the Restrooms available Kurumayama, Shimagahara Marsh, and Ikenokurumi Landing Wetlands, and more than 400 kinds of subalpine plants can be observed throughout the year. It is also designated as a national natural monument and is a rare wetland in the world. In early summer, you can also see Renge azalea, and the bright orange flowers are beautiful! In summer, "daylily" (Daylily) blooms ? as shown in the photo Most of the photos are sent by the staff of our Kirigamine Nature Conservation Center Mr./Ms. This year, it may bloom a little earlier than every year. And this year, thanks to the people involved in Kirigamine, there seems to be little damage from Deer, so it may be a normal year. Why don't you put the rich clear Highlands air full of Suwa's nature into your body and visit to refresh yourself? * The photo is taken last year in 2023.

During a recent visit to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter in Japan, I was enchanted by the beautiful white-walled townscape and the rich history and art it held. The serene atmosphere along the Kurashiki River, with its white-walled warehouses and willow trees, offered a truly unique and charming experience. Exploring the traditional buildings and modern shops, such as the Kurashiki Canvas and Kurashiki Denim stores, was a delight. The area was bustling with tourists. I spent an entire day enjoying myself in the history, art, and culture of this remarkable quarter and look forward to returning in the future.

It's amazing to hear about Shirakawago, located in Gifu Prefecture. It's not just a beautiful spot, but it offers so much more. The village's Gassho-style houses, with over 100 buildings of this style still standing, are truly remarkable. I enjoyed the experience the traditional Japanese scenery and rural ways of life there. The rich history of the area dating back to 7000 B.C. is truly awe-inspiring. The iconic gassho-style houses with their large thatched roofs resembling hands joined in prayer are such a beautiful representation of the village's unique culture.

Kankochi Suwa!!! Introducing the Takashima Castle Festival! May 26, 2024 (the fourth Sunday in May every year). The 55th Takashima Castle Festival was held in. This year, 19 groups presented on stage. Hip-hop dances, Japan dances, Drum, singer singing, Restrooms available and the Matsumoto Castle Gun Corps (arquebus) were Restrooms available. The Gun Squad made a strong impression on me. Restrooms available even in Japan. The arquebus is about 430 years old Restrooms available and I think that there are few people who have traditionally preserved the ones that can be used today Squid The people who protect the arquebus and carry on the tradition are the people of the Matsumoto Castle Gun Corps. That's why arquebuses can be seen at events such as Matsumoto Castle. The gunners brought several types of arquebuses. To the untrained eye, I saw two types of arquebuses. The first is the bantsu (infantry gun), and the next is the medium tube (medium gun). They fired blanks in several different formations. It was a great impact sound! Finally, a batter from Suwa shot the middle tube. It was a huge sound that seemed to cut through the space we were in. It was really amazing, and I felt wonderful! Drum performances, children's Hip-Hop dances, and families came to watch. In this festival, you can buy specialties from Stalls, sister cities, and friendship cities, and you can also do tree climbing!! We were blessed with good weather and many citizens came to the event. If you have the opportunity to come to the Takashima Castle Festival, please come and enjoy it!

Gyoikou is a plant of the genus Prunus in the Rosaceae family. Sakura is a cultivation variety native to Japan that was born based on the Oshima cherry tree. The name has been seen since the middle of the Edo period, and its origin is close to the yellow color of aristocratic clothing. Another name seems to be "misogi (exorcism)". The yellow of the robe in this photo is the yellow of the "Akiba Shrine" in Shimizu Town, Suwa City. This shrine has a number of large zelkova trees, and there are about three Shrine at the base, making it a very fantastic shrine that seems to appear in yellowtail work. If you enter the Akiba Shrine and go to the back on the left, you will find this robe yellow. This cherry blossom blooms about two weeks later than Someiyoshino, and usually blooms ? around Golden Week! The time of year is about the same time as the Double Cherry Blossom (Yae zakura). At the beginning of blooming, the inside of the petals is light green, and near the end of the flower, a light pink streak appears in the center! The trees have lost their momentum since the past, but as it is written on the signboard, the average age of the trees seems to be about 20 years. If you look closely, you can see that the tree was planted on May 25, 1975, so it is 49 years old this year. It's amazing, isn't it!! Also, don't you ♪ think that unlike the famous pink cherry blossoms, they are pale yellow-green and give off a wonderful color? After Someiyoshino, it is a pleasure every year to see the Double Cherry Blossom(Yae zakura) and this mii yellow. Answer! This cherry blossom was written in post English by me on Instagram on January 18 of this year, and the "light green colored cherry blossom" was the yellow of ♪ this Akiba Shrine's robe Please take a look at the post in English. Also, as far as I know, it is a facility in Suwa City, but there was also a green cherry blossom that seemed to be a yellow robe on the premises of the pruned tree recycling facility (former Suwa City Cleaning Center) in Suwa City. This is a facility in Suwa City, so please take a look when you go to recycle pruned trees in early spring. From next year onwards, if you can't make it in time for Someiyoshino around April, please add it to your options to see Mii Huang. Especially in Suwa City and Town/Village six cities near Suwa, there are such unusual cherry blossoms here! If you have any Information, not just cherry blossoms, I would ♪ like to go as much as possible!! Suwa Tourist Association We look forward to following you → @suwa_nagano Instagram!
