Searching for Autumn in Gokase While taking photos for foliage updates, I went looking for autumn in Gokase🍁 Today I visited Gion Shrine in Kuraoka and three locations at Josenji Temple⛩️✨ ...but the leaves hadn’t changed color at all😂 Perhaps the lingering summer heat damaged the leaves and the small temperature differences are to blame🤔 Some maple-type trees showed partial color, but on closer inspection most leaves were blackened and withered in places😣 The maples at Josenji looked relatively pretty, but only in a few high-up sections, so overall it still feels like it’s just getting started💡 Josenji’s bamboo fence was repaired and looks fresh and neat👏 You can’t help but want to see that restored bamboo fence paired with beautiful autumn colors😭 Let’s pray the foliage progresses from here and keep watching over it🙏🙏🙏 The "Gokase Autumn Leaves 2024" event is also underway, so if you spot autumn colors in Gokase, please submit your photos🍁📸 For details, please see the pinned post titled "Gokase Autumn Leaves 2024" 🤗✨

【Koiji Pass】 Koiji Pass on the border of Okuwa Village and Town/Village of Nagiso Town. It is 😍 a romance highway that is said to have been named after a man and a woman who fell in love across the mountain pass This time, from Okuwa Village to Nagiso Town! ↓ Head to the entrance of the pass to admire the beautiful view from the Athira Bridge, where the Atera Canyon in Okuwa Village is located. ↓ Follow the path shown in the second photo to the Observation decks You may even meet a sawa crab on the way! ↓ At the top of the pass, there is a stone monument of "Koiji Pass" and a heart-shaped "Bell of Fulfillment" There are. ↓ For the time being, please look sideways at the bell of fulfillment and climb up to the Observation decks first. If the weather is good, you can see the majestic mountains such as Komagatake. ↓ And to the bell of fulfillment! If you ring the bell after admiring the beautiful view from the observation decks, your wish will be fulfilled! 👏👏👏 ↓ After ringing the bell of fulfillment with a wish, go down the pass. ↓ What was waiting for me at the end of the descent was the superb view Spot "Kakizore Canyon" This view is a sight to 😮 behold every time It is a walking course of about 10 km from Nojiri Station through Koiji Pass to Jujikane Station. Of course, Nakasendo is also recommended, but Hiking this Koiji Pass is also recommended! !!

2024.10.22 On this day, while enduring hunger (laughs), I went to a Autumn leaves spot in the city and took a photo in order to deliver "Suwa Autumn leaves Information", which has been receiving many inquiries recently. It was sunny in the morning, but in the afternoon it became cloudy due to my bad Squid. Please forgive me... The following are my impressions of each Spot, but my personal subjectivity has been included, so I would appreciate your understanding and understanding. (1) Takashima Castle, Gokoku Shrine ⇒ Ginkgo was not colored at all, but was still lush. I have the impression that the maple has also begun to fade in color. (2) Around Suwa Lake and Lakeside Park ⇒ I have the impression that it is starting to color little by little, but I feel that it is still a long way off. (3) Katakurakan ⇒ I have the impression that the Ginkgo is gradually becoming yellowish, but I think it is still a long way off. (4) Tateishi Park ⇒ This is also the impression that it is starting to color little by little. It was raining on the 23rd, but the maximum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius. The mornings are also warm, and the maximum temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius this week, and the minimum temperature does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. I feel that it will be later than every year! Today, I’ll update to you guys about Suwa city’s Autumn Leaves recent situation. I got some phone call about these types of inquiry. So, I went Suwa Autumn leaves spots in Oct, 22nd!!! That day’ AM was sunny, but I’m unlucky man! PM was so cloud… Please forgive me!!! *Caution: it is in my opinion please understand it! 1. Takashima Castle and Gokoku Shrine --- Gingko was so green! Just some leave was turning yellow. 2. Lake Suwa and around Kohan Park --- I think 20 - 30% was changing their leaves color to yellow and red. 3. Katakura-kan --- I think 20 - 30% Katakura-kan’s Gingko is gradually changing yellow color. 4. Tateishi Park --- I think same as Katakura-kan, Maples and Cherry blossoms are changing their leaves to red color. (20 - 30%) Yesterday was rainy in Suwa. But it was 74 degrees Fahrenheit!!! It wasn’t cold, it’s so crazy… Usually in Suwa around November, it is supposed to be under 59 degrees Fahrenheit. I think Suwa Autumn leaves are delay for more than a week compare to usual year.

[Baked potatoes on a bonfire] Nature experience in autumn. After the curatorial event, on the day of the substitute holiday Elementary school students gathered and made a bonfire! The last thing I went to was carrying firewood. Carry the firewood used to make the fire to the BBQ House. Some of the firewood was long and thick. There was also the work of cutting and splitting. Children in the lower grades Scenes of interest in various things, such as lighting fires and cutting wood. When I thought that the person in charge was decided and started moving, I thought, "I want to do that too!" It was interesting to see a child in the upper grades calmly observing the way his feet stopped. A child who likes chopping firewood and keeps chopping it all the time. Some of the children kept cutting trees all the time. Even a first-grader can use a solid saw By the end of the meeting, I was completely good at using a saw! It's amazing how focused they are. Fun of bonfires isn't just about the experience, of course. I also had the pleasure of eating baked potatoes and bread sticks! Sweet potato is a sweet potato that I was allowed to dig on the waterfall last month. Because the firepower was stronger than expected, and the newspaper and aluminum foil wrapping were weak. There were some potatoes that were charred on the outside (it's a reflection ...) The inside is thick and thick! It was packed with sweetness! This is an aside, but After coming to Nishiokoppe, bonfires, BBQ, wood stoves, etc. I have had so many opportunities to see the fire. How do you light, keep and extinguish a fire? Not only in reading Documents, but also in everyday experiences The environment in which you can get to know is interesting. *** Halloween Events this weekend! Please dress up and gather at Nishiokoppe! #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Autumn #Nature Experience #Kiiku #Elementary school students #Experience #Bonfire #Roasted sweet potato #Stick bread

Goshikinuma ponds, often dubbed the “mysterious lake,” promise to be an great experience with their captivating colors—emerald green, cobalt blue, turquoise blue, emerald blue, and pastel blue. Goshikinuma meaning "five color ponds," is somewhat misleading. The area features far more than five ponds, each likely to reveal an even broader array of spectacular colors. During fall time the ponds look more heavenly and peaceful.

Autumn leaves and the purple gold mountain atlas comet In Hokkaido, autumn slowly turns color Autumn leaves were photographed in a composition that looked like a comet falling It seems that Comet Purple Gold Mountain Atlas will return in 80,000 years In other words, this is the last time you will be able to see this scenery and the comet at the same time When I thought about it, I felt somewhat lonely, as if I was saying goodbye to this life

Comet Atlas, a hot topic right now I was able to take a picture with Kondeji You can tell it's a comet even with a smartphone. You can take pictures of the level. (The mountain range seen below is a recent The Hidaka Mountains, which became a national park) Even if it's sunny, it's barely visible to the naked eye I feel like I can see it somehow. I can't see the "tail" in my eyesight Because it looks like a small, dim star Many people don't seem to notice that it's a comet. It will be useful to have bright binoculars This celestial show will last until around the end of this week. It is said that it is an opportunity, It gets darker and smaller.
