This is really cool, I love how you can see like 3 different landscapes in this photo. Cherry blossoms in spring, the Northern Alps still in winter, and in the middle it looks like a sort of dry landscape you'd see during the summer. I've read about the Hakuba Ski Resort but it looks like there's some beautiful scenery here in the spring as well. Then again, it is Nagano so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised lol. I'd personally like to go down and visit the town and see what they've got. I've been to a few small towns at the bases of ski resorts and mountains before and they're always really nice and have a really different feel from any other town. There's usually at least one really good restaurant to eat at as well. Something to look forward to in Nagano I suppose!

I photographed the Kawazu cherry blossoms in Miura. It was fruitful and spilling out.

I took a picture of the Kawazu cherry blossoms in Miura on a sunny day. Sakurajima and Keikyu were beautiful in the sky.

At Daito Park in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is a cold cherry tree called "Imazu Red Kanzakura" that was certified as a new variety in 2018. Photographed on March 14, 2021. The peak had passed, but it was still blooming beautifully.

This is what I like to see! It's getting warmer and warmer with each passing day and the cherry blossoms are starting to bloom nicely. This weekend was alright, Saturday was a bit rainy but Sunday and today were really clear and the weather was great. Starting to feel like tshirt weather is coming soon! I love seeing the photos and other stuff about the Kawazu cherry blossoms, it really helps me get in the spring spirit! Going to try and get outside the city this weekend or next and see some of the cherry blossoms in Saitama or something, as unfortunately, Kanagawa is a liiittle too far for a day trip lol. We'll see what happens though. Either way I'm gonna see some cherry blossoms!

I visited Hirano Shrine in Kyoto City, including taking a photo before the first festival. I hope I was able to enjoy spring with a little dress.

In Kyoto, you can see the plum blossoms called Jonangu very beautifully. By the way. The upside-down Umejiro was 😌🌸 very cute.

It is a single cherry tree of Nodaira in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. The remaining snow in the Northern Alps was very magnificent.

I took a picture of cherry blossoms in the evening. The color of the sunset matches the color of the cherry blossoms.

I went to take pictures of cherry blossoms. The lanterns give a nice taste.

Today was nice and warm today, I even opened the window for a bit and let the breeze roll in. Hoping it continues like this although apparently Saturday it's supposed to rain. I'm looking forward to getting out this spring and enjoying riding some bicycles myself. The cherry blossoms should start blooming nicely in Tokyo next week so that's something nice to look forward to as well! I'll have to look for some good parks to ride in. There's a bike rental down the road from where I live and it's really cheap which is nice so hopefully I can make use of it. That or I'll just head out further into the countryside lol. Either way, looking forward to spring!

Awesome! The samurai residences of Kakunodate were awesome when I went there. The cherry blossoms were really amazing as well. Along the river and all along the houses. I remember I talked to one of the local shopkeepers here for a minute and it was really nice. There's supposed to be castle ruins somewhere near the town as well but I didn't get a chance to see them. This is a great place to visit in the spring for anyone curious. I highly recommend checking it out. Be careful of the big green spiders though, lol. I think they're probably harmless but they are quite surprising...

Well if the last few days were any indication of what's to come then we should be seeing cherry blossoms in Tokyo in about a week. Today was a bit more chilly but Saturday the weather was great. Was able to throw on a t shirt and didn't need to turn the heat on at all. Got some work done around the house this weekend and looking forward to going out to some parks next weekend to see some cherry blossoms hopefully. If they're not blooming by next Saturday then the weekend after next should be great so I'm looking forward to that. Plum wine and BBQ here I come!
