At Manabe Garden in Obihiro, hydrangeas are beginning to bloom little by little. At the garden entrance, a gnome-like fairy known in Europe as a guardian of the garden welcomes visitors. A film set from the morning drama series Natsuzora is also on display beside the entrance and next to the café on the lawn terrace. After strolling through the garden, why not enjoy lunch or a cold sweet at the café? The sweets menu includes three parfaits—the ice brulee parfait, the Strawberry Green Garden parfait, a coffee jelly parfait—as well as soft-serve ice cream. This time I had the ice brulee parfait—what a blissful moment. It has been hot every day, so please enjoy summer sightseeing while staying hydrated. Access: about a 10-minute drive from Obihiro Station, about a 20-minute bike ride from Obihiro Station about a 20-minute bus ride from Obihiro Station http://www.manabegarden.jp//

A flower garden that is not a secret Base point at Shintoku Station, If you head towards Shintoku Hire, A lovely flower garden will appear. This is a private house. "I want not only the people of Shintoku Town but also various people to come and see it." I'm sorry to disturb you. It is a wonderful garden full of thoughts for flowers, Shintoku Town, and feelings for the deceased. However, he said that he was very sad that a rose seedling had been stolen before! It may have been something that took a lot of time and effort to grow, or it may have been a flower with a lot of feelings. Squid think that some of the people who see this post and visit will do something sad, It is a private home, so please view it in moderation. If your husband or gardener is doing yard work, Say a word and ask me to show you the lovely courtyard. However, if there are no people, please enjoy looking at the courtyard from the outside. Our Village Beautification Project Saturday, June 14 We carried out our annual Our Village Beautification Project. Everyone from local businesses to nursery children and adults planted marigold seedlings along the roadside. About an hour before the meeting a heavy rain shower passed, and after it stopped the temperature and humidity gradually rose, so it was the kind of day when you worked up a sweat. Some people dug holes, some placed pots, and some buried the seedlings… we divided the tasks and diligently planted flowers in our assigned areas. Under the flag celebrating the village's 100th anniversary, neatly planted marigolds and pansies are once again brightening the road this year. May they grow tall and strong. #Nishiwakkanai Village #Hokkaido #Our Village Beautification Project #Flower Planting #Marigolds #Pansies #June 14 #Flowers #Nature #Setoushi-kun Polo Shirt

Hydrangeas are beginning to bloom Hydrangeas, the flower that symbolizes the rainy season, are starting to bloom across Gokasecho 🤗✨ (Photo: Kuwanochi area) From pale blue to deep blue, pink and purple… Their round shapes draped in refreshing colors look utterly charming 🥰 The lacecap hydrangeas also show a delicate beauty, like quiet sparklers 😌 We saw many bushes that haven’t bloomed yet, so they should continue to delight us for a while ✨ Rain is forecast again from tomorrow, but isn’t viewing hydrangeas dotted with raindrops a rather poetic pleasure 😆? This season can easily bring people down, so let’s find small joys and keep our spirits up 💪✨

Planting in a Large Pot In Nishiokoppe, Sato Yuka of onesmanorgarden, who has become a familiar face here, was invited as the instructor for a container-planting workshop! This time, the plan was to display the arrangements at village facilities, so we planted as many as 15 kinds of flowers and foliage in a large pot. Unlike the gathering-style design we learned last year, container planting simply involves removing plants from their pots, arranging them in the planter, leveling the soil, and the arrangement is finished in no time. Before taking them out of their pots, we first laid them out to expand our ideas. Because the pot has a pattern, we imagined which side might be the front and how to make the arrangement attractive from every angle, then decided on the placement. Once the image was clear, we planted from the center outward and built the surrounding heights to match. If the soil surface is not even, water will collect in the low spots when you water, or so we were told. As I planted each one, I filled gaps with soil as needed and continued working. Experienced participants, even with large pots, finished their arrangements in about 30 minutes with a flurry of activity. (Too fast…!) The finished pots are installed in both Kamiokoppe and Nishiokoppe. Although each pot used the same materials, individual personalities shine through, so it might be fun to compare them. #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Container-Planting Workshop #Village in Full Bloom #Kamu #Flower Park #Flowers #Nature

Ume Juice and Umeboshi Making On a crisp summer day today (June 19), the red, white, and pink azaleas welcomed us cheerfully at Kuraokakurara. The eldest children from Kuraoka Nursery School and first graders from Kuraoka Elementary gathered to make ume juice and umeboshi.🤗 The children had harvested plenty of fresh ume at the Kuraoka district orchard the day before.😳💕 Under the guidance of the neighborhood’s “ume expert,” who lives in the Kuraoka area, everyone packed the prepared ume into jars. They will take the jars back to school, turn them over every day, and let them develop until the juices rise.💪 When the red shiso season arrives, they will move on to the next step.💡 It sounds delightful.🥰 It seems the children, now junior ume experts, also took some ume home, so they will likely enjoy processing them at home while passing on what they learned to their families.🤩✨
