It was my first visit to Gujo Hachiman Castle. The autumn colors had passed their peak and many leaves had faded, but an unexpected mist gave the scene a great atmosphere.

Ryosokuji Temple, known as the Maple Temple, is a famous spot for autumn leaves.
About 150 maple trees line the approach from the main gate and throughout the temple grounds, their vivid crimson coloring the temple.

This cross-country skiing event takes place across the Yubetsu Primeval Field, spanning Engaru Town and Yubetsu Town in Hokkaido's Okhotsk region.
Courses range from the longest 80 km Yubetsu Primeval Field Course, which winds through vast natural scenery, to a beginner-friendly 5 km course, welcoming participants of all ages from adults to children.

Autumn leaves are often seen during the day, but I wanted to capture the night-time foliage lit up by lights, so I took these photos. The remaining green created a pleasing contrast, and I feel I managed to capture a truly Japanese autumn. This spot is Kouchi Valley in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, which draws many visitors during the autumn leaf season. Although it’s fairly close to my home, I had never been until I took up photography as a hobby and felt the urge to preserve it in pictures, and I was able to shoot without any people appearing in the frame. I take photos mainly for my own satisfaction, but I would be thrilled if they resonated with someone else.

but the weather turned just right for an open-top drive after a long time

The white Copen and the orange-lined trees matched perfectly, giving a full autumn vibe✨
