Today, Hokuryu Town residents Maintenance with his own hands, and it was filled with pioneering spirit Introducing 🌳✨ the handmade forest "Yew Forest" This forest is dotted with Song monuments and poetry monuments related to the town, and is full of literary romance. In Spring, several Prunus sargentii (Ezo cherry trees) bloom along the road, delighting 🌸 the eyes of those walking Among them, this time I was particularly struck by the following: Ipponzakura cherry blossoms bloom quietly deep in the walking path. Coupled with its beautiful branch yellowtail, pretty flowers, and the landscape of farmland spreading out next door, Impression by the picturesque location ...! In the quiet forest, my heart seemed to be washed 😂 by the miracle of Spring that I suddenly encountered Squid may not be well known yet because it is located in a slightly secluded place, Thereare the tranquility you can enjoy and a moment to face Nature. Even after the cherry blossom season has passed, the charm of the yew forest does not 🍃 fade I would like to continue to carefully protect this forest, where the thoughts of the Town residents live. When visiting Hokuryu Town, be sure to visit the "Yew Forest". We look forward 😊✨ to your visit

May 13, 2025 Takashima Castle Wisteria On this day, foodie KAWANISHI visited the wisteria at Takashima Castle (Takashima Park). This year, I came to see the wisteria at Takashima Castle again! I think it will finish blooming by the end of this week. At Takashima Castle, two rows of wisteria trellises stand side by side, and there are wisteria over the pond as well. The colors are stunning, with a beautiful contrast of purple and white!!! Usually, they reach their best around Golden Week.

Ashoro Tourism Association
May. 13, 2025
The bitter cold is over, and Ashoro is gradually becoming a comfortable season. As the weather gets warmer, the number of climbers on Mt. Mekan seems to be increasing, but I would like to tell you once again about the precautions for climbing Mt. Meakan. In recent years, with the increase in the number of mountain climbers, the number of accidents during mountain climbing has increased. In particular, it seems that there are many people who report that their feet hurt during the descent. Prepare well according to your physical strength, muscle strength, technique, and experience, and never overdo it. Mt. Mekan is a mountain that is relatively easy to climb even for beginners, but it is a 1500m-class mountain in Hokkaido. Even in summer (around July), depending on the weather, the temperature can be close to 0°C, or it can be 35°C or higher. In addition, even if the Downtown area of Ashoro is sunny, there are many cases where the weather is bad at Mt. Meakan. There are also sudden changes in the weather. There are that pebbles may fly near the summit due to strong winds. Local people do not climb when the trees are making a go-go sound in the wind at the trailhead. Since it is an active volcano, please check the volcano Information and make a decision on climbing after fully being aware that it is an active volcano. ・Do not climb in light clothing. As for shoes, it is desirable to have neat mountaineering boots. There are many tree roots on the Mountain Trail that look like a mesh, and it is slippery, especially when wet. There are no trees near the summit, and the ground is stone and sandy, especially on the descent. Some people fell and hit their heads and were transported by helicopter. In addition, considering the change in weather, temperature change, and wind near the summit where there are no trees, it is essential to prepare rain gear such as a rain jacket for climbing. When we climb around June, we try to bring at least one fleece to protect us from the cold. In July ~ August, even if the day before exceeds 30°C, the next day it may be below 10°C. Thereare it is necessary to take measures to protect against the cold, and it is necessary to prepare drinks and food well. Don't forget your map and compass. ・ Do not go off other than the mountain trail, do not collect animals and plants. Mountain trail Maintenance is carried out every year so that people do not get lost in pink tape and rock markings (Implementation is scheduled for May 22 in FY2025). Do not stray from the Mountain Trail for the protection of flora and fauna. In addition, it is in a national park, and the collection of flora and fauna is strictly prohibited. Other precautions, please check the following Home page. https://www.town.ashoro.hokkaido.jp/kanko/spot/spot-9.html...

🌊✨ Memories 🌊✨ of Iriomote Island Diving Tour Hello! This time in Hokule'a Shonan, I went to Iriomote Island! There is a to everyone who participated. First of all, the highlight of this tour, the big game! The manta ray we were looking for swam gracefully right above us, and everyone was very excited about its majestic appearance! The next thing that appeared was a turtle 🐢. They have a strong spirit of service, come close to everyone, and take a commemorative photo perfectly! In addition, a flock of barracudas will appear at the end! The thunderstorm ☔️ of the previous day reduced the visibility a little, but I still enjoyed the luxurious scene. In addition to the big fish, we also observed a variety of corals 🪸, beautiful water channels ☀️ with light, and many macro organisms such as clownfish and nudibranchs. The clownfish even showed off a 😊 trick Even after diving, we spent a relaxing time at a café and toasted together, making it a very satisfying four days not only at sea but also on land. The time I spent with you was truly a wonderful memory. ⭐️ The next Iriomote Island tour will be Friday, May 15-18, 2026 Capacity: 8 people Make your reservation as soon as possible! 😎 🌈 If it's Hokule'a Shonan There are Accommodation tours every month! This is a photo taken from National Route 134 along Shichirigahama toward the sea. It was a sunny day and there were no clouds in the sky, but the blue sky without clouds, the blue sea that seemed to be soaked in the color of the sky, and the three-part line of the road looked very beautiful, so I cut it out in a three-part composition. Enoshima is located on the right, and the scenery around here is really beautiful and I love it.

There’s a ranch in Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, where you can meet cows and enjoy the great outdoors, and even try your hand at cheesemaking 🧀!🐮✨ Fukufuku Ranch sits in Kuwacho, Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Although it’s called a ranch, it’s essentially a mountain. You can watch cows stride confidently across steep slopes and through thickets, and the wide natural landscape—full of insects and thick branches that make you want to pick them up—invites curious children to romp and run with delight. There are about five to ten cows on the ranch. From spring through autumn they graze on fresh grass in the pastures, and in winter they eat hay. All the animals are Jersey cattle. Of course you can interact with the cows. Remarkably, the ranch also offers a variety of hands-on programs! Here are five experiences available. (For details, please see the official Fukufuku Ranch website.) 1. A walking course right beside the cows 2. Ranch trekking and cottage cheese making 3. Milking 4. Butter making 5. A slightly indulgent ranch tour guided by ranch staff These programs were created out of a desire for visitors to learn about the milk that becomes cheese and about the cows that live in the mountains. Whether with family, a group, friends, or alone, please make a reservation and give it a try 👀✨ Facility name: Fukufuku Ranch Address: 1390 Yuki, Kuwacho, Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture Phone: 0824-87-2195
