We are pleased to announce the pre-release of Higashiizu's digital map.🎉 . This pilot project was developed with the cooperation of GEOMARK Inc. and is available for a limited time until the end of February! . . What makes the digital map great . 1. A sweeping illustration of the east coast! We used the sunrise over Higashiizu and the mountain terrain as the main visual. It clearly shows this town of sea and mountains. (We are still adjusting the sunrise position.💦) . . 2. Supports foreign-language translation! The digital map serves domestic visitors and supports four languages—Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Korean—so international guests can easily look up nearby spots. . . This is a limited release for the pilot until the end of February, but based on usage and survey results we plan to expand and strengthen the content toward year-round service! . We welcome responses to the survey in English as well! . . ＼Hosono Highlands Yamayaki Experience／ "Yamayaki" is a practice continued every year since the Edo period to keep Hosono Highlands as grassland. . In February 2023, as a first effort, the yamayaki was opened in an ultra-limited way and offered as a tour for visitors to observe. . To let more people learn more deeply, we will hold the "Yamayaki Experience" again in 2024.
