Went on a walk into town to grab a bite to eat and came across this park. Had some really nice flowers. There were some pigeons hopping around as well so I took a picture of one of them? Loving spring so far and I'm looking forward to seeing more awesome sights like this. Things are becoming more and more lively, and it's really awesome to see it slowly happening. It's like everyone was in hibernation with covid and now that spring is finally upon us we're all sort of coming out of hibernation and starting to get outside again. It rained pretty badly today but with rain will come even more beautiful scenery!

Aghhh! I wish I got to get out and see some beautiful illuminations this winter but with everything happening in the world it wasn't exactly possible. Really wanted to check out the one in Hibiya but next year will have to do. I know a lot of events were canceled this winter as well but things can hopefully start opening up again as vaccines start rolling out around the country. Slow process for now, but hopefully it starts to speed up soon. I'd like to visit some flower parks this spring, I know there are a few that have illuminations as well and my girlfriend would love to visit them and see the cherry blossoms and wisteria, so if everything goes well hopefully we'll get the chance. That and I'm seriously missing going out to festivals, so hopefully we can get some of those soon!

The illuminations are beautiful in winter. The warm light colors warm your heart on cold winter nights.

I've heard about this place! I think I watched a video on it here actually? Not sure, but anyways, this photo is really nice. It's so simple and yet it really conveys the beautiful simplicity of sushi. It's really cool that the restaurant has English services for customers that don't speak Japanese. I think it really goes to show just how strong Japan's omotenashi culture is. The hospitality here is really second to none and it's something I've never experienced outside of Japan. I've gotta check this sushi place out though as it's apparently really good and popular! Another one to add to the list I suppose!

A famous restaurant in Higashi Ginza, Sushi Onodera's tuna noodles.
English is also spoken here.
It is my favorite sushi restaurant in Tokyo.
