The other day, my friends and I dived together into the sea in Shizuura, Shizuoka Prefecture, and dived to collect garbage in the water. Take a look at this group photo taken after the activity! Isn't everyone really cool? The reason we think it's "cool" isn't just how it looks. I hope that we will come to an age where "picking up trash" will be taken for granted and seen as something to be proud of. That's what we have in mind. 🌊 Diving is a special time to connect with the sea. When you dive, you will be soothed by the tranquility and beauty of the water. You will also notice that there is garbage produced by people in the sea. Plastic bags, plastic bottles, pieces of fishing gear... There is also a reality that makes you want to look away. In such a situation, there is something that only divers can do. We believe so. Picking up trash can be sobering. But it's an action to protect the oceans of the future.
