Isehara Flower Update: April 12 Thanks to the kindness of Sugiyama Doken Co., Ltd., the private rhododendron garden is now open to the public. In Isehara, this is a well-kept secret and a treat after the cherry blossoms. On about 1,500 tsubo (approximately 4,958 square meters) of garden, you can enjoy 50 varieties and more than 1,000 rhododendron shrubs and several hundred peony plants. The garden also sits on a hill with a superb view toward Mt. Fuji in the distance. * Bringing food or drink and bringing pets are prohibited. (This is private property, so please observe proper manners.)
