For the rehearsal of the birch sap water collection experience that will start the day after tomorrow, we will do a final check of the flow at the site. I was worried because it snowed the day before yesterday, but thanks to the warmth today, I was relieved by the sap that oozes out when I make a hole in the birch. It seems that it was still a little early for full-scale collection, and the sap that came out was about 50 ml in one hour. From now until the end of the week, the daytime temperature is forecast to exceed 10 degrees Celsius, so I think the amount of collection will stabilize. The birch sap water collection experience will be held from the 5th (Friday) to the 14th (Sunday) of this month, and reservations can be made even the day before. If you are interested, please join us. In addition, those who are only interested in visiting are welcome. * If there are no participants, there will be no event, so please contact the tourism association in advance. For details, please contact the Shintoku Tourism Association [0156-64-0522].

Today is the end of March. Tokachi has also been 🍀 in spring for a long time On a clear day, you can clearly see the ridgeline of the Hidaka Mountains from the Tokachi Gaoka Observatory. The Hidaka Mountains are scheduled to become a national park around this summer, and if designated, it will be 😮 the seventh national park in Hokkaido and the largest in Japan Why don't you enjoy the majestic Hidaka Mountains from the Tokachi Gaoka Observatory? The view of the Tokachi River and the Tokachi Plain is also wonderful 😊 The observatory is about 5 minutes by car from the Tokachi River hot spring district!

I went to Daichino Takumi in Tokachi River Onsen. The day I visited happened to be the 29th, but the 29th was Meat Day, so there was a steak fair! You can 😊 eat steak at 29% off Today's recommended menu "Future Memuro Ushi Sune Steak" Rice, soup, salad, and pickles are included in the set. (I ate the salad before I took the picture...) The meat was refreshing, but it was also delicious! Volume filled my stomach 😊 It seems to be held on the 29th of every month, so please go there. * The menu table is as of March 29, 2024. ・Seasonal vegetables and grilled meat Daichino Takumi Otofuke Tokachi River Onsen Kita 13-1-19 TEL 0155-67-1129 Business hours 11:30~14:00(L.O.) 17:30~21:00(L.O.) I went to the preview of "Takutetsukinoko Tan" that will open on Saturday, April 6th. Takutetsukinoko Tan is a facility where you can enjoy the harvesting experience of raw wood shiitake mushrooms operated by the Hokkaido Takutetsu Bus that runs in Shintoku Town. This place is the predecessor of the Takutetsu Bus, which ran between Shintoku Town and Shikaoi Town and Kamishihoro Town Town and was abandoned railway lines in 1968 (Showa 43), where Minami Shintoku Station of the Hokkaido Takushoku Railway was located. The fact that the Takushoku Railway also transported lumber and other materials was also an opportunity to start raw wood shiitake mushrooms. Therefore, in addition to exhibiting photos from the railway era, there is also a corner where equipment and documents are displayed in the facility. It is located 1 minute from National Route 38 and about 1.5 km from JR Shintoku Station, and it is about 5 minutes away if you rent a bicycle (free) in front of the station, so please stop by. Also, the cute mushroom tan station master "Mushroom Tan" is also waiting for you to come~! #Hokkaido #Tokachi #Shintoku Town #Shintoku Tourism Association #Takutetsu Mushroom Tan #Station Master Mushroom Tan #Harvest Experience #Haraki Shiitake #Mushroom #Hokkaido Takushoku Bus #Hokkaido Takushoku Railway

Tokachi River Onsen in the morning Hello! It's March and it's getting warmer little by little, but the mornings here in Otofuke are still cold. The temperature at 5 a.m. on the day of shooting was -12.1 degrees Celsius. There was river fog, and the Tokachi Chuo Bridge was hidden. After sunrise, the river fog disappears and the bridge becomes clear! At 7 o'clock, we were able 😊 to see the majestic Hidaka Mountains beautifully There was no wind that day, so I was able to see the hot air balloons going up. Even if it's cold, seeing this kind of scenery will get you excited! Please 😊 come and see the scenery unique to this time of year

As the Abandoned railway lines of the Nemuro Main Line [Shintoku ⇔ Furano] approaches, the number of customers is increasing at Shintoku Station. I looked at the photos of the "Thank You Nemuro Main Line Panel Exhibition" that has been held at the station since the beginning of this month, and at the waiting seat next to the customers who were taking pictures, there were customers eating ekiben made at restaurants in the town. When I asked the staff at the shop "Stellar Station" in the station that sells it, they said that they sell "Shintoku Jidori Meshi(Chicken Rice)" on Wednesdays, and "Tokachi Yakiniku Bento" on Other days. It is very popular. If you are coming to Shintoku Station from now on, please leave the taste of Shintoku and Tokachi on one page along with the memories of the Nemuro Main Line.

【Introduction of deep spots in Taiki Town】 📍 Former JNR Hiroo Line Taiki Station Ruins In Taiki Town, there are still the remains of the station building of the Hiroo Line, a railway connecting Obihiro and Hiroo, which operated until Showa 62. Taiju Station opened in 1930 (Showa 5), and at its peak, the number of passengers per day exceeded 1,000 Use. The place where the tracks used to be is now a square called "Taiju Traffic Park", and the station building still remains. You can't go inside the building, but if you look through the window, you can see that the ticket gates and waiting rooms are still there. On the remains of the platform, there are still station name signs and signal levers. In Hakurin Park on the north side of Taiki Town Town Hall, the SL "No. 59611", which ran on the Hiroo Line until 1975 (Showa 50) after being active in various parts of Hokkaido, is on display. It seems that it was installed at the urging of SL fans in the town. Why don't you come and feel the remnants of the railway running in Taiki Town?

I went to the Indian Natsuzora store, which opened last month at the Roadside Station Otofuke Natsuzora no Fururi! I ordered a Natsuzora limited hamburger steak that can only be eaten here. A juicy hamburger steak made with "Otofuke Kino e Beef" and minced pork is combined with curry loved by locals. It was so delicious that I finished 😊 it in no time The Natsuzora store also sells frozen curry, so it's a good ✨ souvenir After the meal, try soft-serve ice cream at SKYPIEA, a take-out specialty store also located at the Roadside Station. It was a snowy and cold day, but Yotsuba's soft-serve ice cream was always delicious ✨ It was a very satisfying day with gourmet food at the Roadside Station. ・Indian Natsuzora store Business hours 10:00~18:00 (Last order 17:30 ) Regular holiday Every Monday from November ~ March (If Monday is a holiday, the next day) Year-end and New Year holidays (December 31st ~ January 3rd) 3 days each in May and August, 1 day in November ・SKYPIEA Business hours 10:00~18:00 (Last order 17:30 ) Regular holiday Every Monday from November ~ March (If Monday is a holiday, the next day) Year-end and New Year holidays (December 31st ~ January 3rd) ・ Roadside Station Otofukenazora no Furusato Business hours 9:00~18:00 Regular holiday Every Monday from November ~ March (If Monday is a holiday, the next day) Year-end and New Year holidays (December 31st ~ January 3rd) Otofuke Natsuzora 2 TEL 0155-65-0822

Otofuke store consisting of a noodle shop Yukkejang Ramen 3 Spicy A spicy soup made by blending beef tail soup with several types of chili peppers. Even the standard 3 spicies were spicy! If you don't like spiciness, there is also 0 spicy that is not spicy at all. The inside of the store was bright and there was a small rise, and there were people with children. Small rice is free, so you can add eggs and cheese as an option to make it into a bowser. The ramen, which was popular at the yakiniku restaurant, was addictively delicious because it was 😋 served as a specialty store 〒080-0301 Hokkaido, Kato-gun, Otofuke, Kino Odori Nishi 12-3-2 11:00〜21:00
