It is "Yokote kamakura" in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture. "Kamakura" is a small New Year's event dedicated to the god of water, and children among the kamakura shout "Enter! They talk to tourists and treat them with mochi and amazake. This photo is from the "Kamakura" photo session venue, but the best position was super full and I regretted being late, but if I dared to take it from a position where no one was looking, I was able to take a really nice photo and I was very satisfied with the "Kamakura" photo.

Winter traditions Eel fishing I went to Tokushima Prefecture to see this scene, but I was impressed when I saw it for the first time. There were already tripods on the bridge, so I took a hand-held picture from behind so as not to disturb passers-by and other photographers.

I took this photo at Shinano Railway Shinano Railway Line Togura - Saka Castle. This train, called a JNR type car, which rolled up snow from the tunnel and came out vigorously, reminds me of the Showa era, which should not be the era in which I lived.

Gokayama village in Toyama After seeing Shirakawa-go in Gifu, I also visited here and the scale is smaller than Shirakawa-go, but I personally like this one better. The timing was bad, so I couldn't see the snow on the roof, but it was still fantastic and made me feel that it was amazing that people in the past built a village deep in the mountains like this.

Superb view unique to winter In order to see this scene, I climbed the mountain three times to Fukuchiyama in Kyoto, and the weather was bad and I could not see it the first time and the second time. It seems that you can easily go up by car, but if you do that, you will not get a sense of accomplishment and you will not be impressed, so I climbed on my own feet and when I was finally able to see the long-awaited scene for the third time, I was so impressed that I forgot the fatigue of climbing the mountain.
