I tried to take a decent photo of Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower in Shinjuku, but didn't have enough to to really get up close to it unfortunately, so this building is in the way lol. I didn't realize that the tower was filled with educational facilities until now. Apparently the architects liked the cocoon shape because they felt it symbolized the nurturing of the students that would be inside of it. It's pretty interesting and a great concept in my opinion. Japan has a lot of cool architecture, both modern and historic and I love seeing them both. Hopefully next time I visit Shinjuku I'll be able to get a better view of the tower, although it might be a while lol. Either way, pretty cool place!

Just a couple photos I took outside of Tabata Station over the weekend. I've always thought this clock tower was neat but I don't stop by Tabata Station much. Decided to take a photo of it this time for anyone who hasn't been to the station. Also a golden statue of a woman. The statue is titled "Flower" with the kanji "華" and was made by Hiroteru Kawasaki 川崎 普照 from my understanding. You can see it from the angle I took the photo, but the clock tower is titled "The Bell of Hope" 希望の鐘. I thought it's interesting that it was titled with "bell" instead of clock tower since I don't think I've heard it ring before. I must not be visiting at the correct times lol. The summit of Mt. Fuji like an eruption

It was a lively park, but when the light of the setting sun came in, the scenery was so wide that everyone stopped and looked at it.

At Shioyama in Yamanashi Prefecture. Signs of autumn.

Cut out autumn in Hokkaido with a single-lens reflex camera. The place is Hakodate City Kosetsu Garden. The autumn leaves, which are in full bloom in early November Japan are the latest end point of autumn. I photographed the autumn leaves with a soft fancy filter with a conciliatory expression.

I wanted to take a picture of the flowers after it rained, and I heard that the higan flowers were blooming a lot, so I went to take a picture. The location is Kujinji Temple in Gose City, Nara Prefecture. I'm a camera beginner, so I don't know what kind of composition I should take to take a beautiful picture, so this photo is my favorite photo that I was able to take as a result of trial and error.

Maple tree taken on a sunny autumn day. Shooting with a lens filter [soft fancy filter] creates a fluffy atmosphere. Sunny x autumn leaves go very well together, and it makes you feel cheerful to look at.

Higanbana after the rain! It tasted good with water droplets and was very beautiful!

Hokkaido "Hachironuma Park" is lit up in autumn, and the beautiful orange color reflects on the surface of the water and is fantastic. I put up a tripod and shot at low ISO sensitivity with long exposures.

Some more photos I took at Todaiji Temple. The first statue is of Vaisravana 多聞天/毘沙門天, another of the Four Heavenly Kings, holding a staff and some sort of small pagoda,. The second statue is Cintamanicakra 如意輪観音, a bodhisattva. The third photo is a unfortunately poor quality photo of Vairocana, the Cosmic Buddha from my understanding. The rest of the photos are models of Todaiji's Great Buddha Hall from 800 and 300 years ago, and Nandai-mon, the Great South Gate. The pagoda is, from my understanding, a replica of one of the lost pagodas that used to be located at Todaiji Temple, but I believe was burnt down? I could be wrong about that though. Then last is a photo of the heads of Virudhaka 増長天left, and Dhrtarastra 持国天right, two of the Four Heavenly Kings. Lots of cool stuff to be seen at Todaiji! Definitely recommend it. My photos don't do it justice at all.
