Here are some recommended sightseeing spots in Kawazu Town, a beautiful town surrounded by the nature of the sea and mountains! This time, I would like to introduce "Kawazu Ruins of the Castle". ・Kawazu Castle overlooking cherry blossom trees Shiroyama is located northeast of Kawazu Station, and is a 181-meter-high mountain called Mt. Dainichi because it enshrines Dainichi Nyorai at the top of the mountain. There used to be Kawazu Castle, which was built by Kageyama Kageyu, who drew the blood of the Ashikaga clan, but it was attacked by fire from the foot of Mt. by Hōjō Sōun, and since there was no water, he tried to extinguish the fire with military rice, but it was not extinguished and the castle fell. Even now, when you dig in the mountains, you can find grilled rice. Legend has it that if you feed this grilled rice to cows and horses, they will not get sick. ◆ Detailed information ◆ 【Spot name】Kawazu Ruins of the Castle 【Address】Shiroyama Kawazu Town Sasahara Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture 【Business hours】9:00~16:00 【Regular holiday】Open open all year 【Parking lot】None 【Other】Please walk in familiar athletic shoes.

Atami Castle Atami Trick Art Labyrinth Museum Atami Castle towers over the summit of Mt. Nishikigaura, a scenic spot in Atami. The Tenshukaku Observatory, where you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama, is the best viewing point in Atami where you can see not only the city of Atami City, but also Yugawara, the Manazuru Peninsula, Hatsushima and Oshima floating on a clear day, and the Izu Peninsula in the direction of Ajiro and Ito. In spring, it is known as a famous place for cherry blossoms, and in summer, you can watch the fireworks festival from the castle tower as if you were a prince. (Cherry Blossom Festival is late March ~ early April) In the castle, there is a samurai culture museum that exhibits armor and swords, a ukiyo-e shunga museum, an Edo experience where you can change into Edo costumes and take pictures, a jet foot bath 120m above sea level, a free game corner, etc., so there are plenty of highlights and fun! At the Atami Trick Art Labyrinth Museum, an annex of Atami Castle, you can enjoy a very mysterious trick art where you can feel the three-dimensional two-dimensional paintings. About 40 pieces of various trick art such as sea creatures, dinosaurs, beasts of prey, and jaws are on display. Not only to look at the art, but also to take interesting pictures, experience the illusion of being a giant or a dwarf, see, touch, shoot, and have a great time! Lose track of time and get carried away with tricks. It is a place where you can have an exciting experience with your family, friends, and couples, no matter who you come with. World Heritage Site Nakijin Castle Ruins Wall Illumination / Nakijin Gusuku Cherry Blossom Festival / Nakijin Castle Ruins, a World Heritage Site located in Nakijin Village in northern Okinawa Prefecture Japan's earliest cherry blossom festival started here in the northern part of the country. I went to see the beautiful cherry blossoms at night and the fantastic illumination of the castle walls, but the cherry blossoms were still in bloom for 3~5 minutes. The cherry blossoms in Okinawa are called Kanhizakura and are dark pink. It usually blooms in mid-January ~ early February. I didn't get a shot of the cherry blossoms and the city walls, but I hope to be able to introduce them next time when the cherry blossom front moves south to the south.
