Autumn at Ooyama 2024 Maple Report 🍁 12.5 Here is the current view of Oyama Temple as of Thursday, December 5, and of the lower Ooyama Afuri Shrine and Fujimidai as of Tuesday, December 3. On clear days, the view of Mt. Fuji from Fujimidai is exceptional! The maple trees along Suzukawa, below the OyamaCableCar bus stop, are also beautiful. The peak of the autumn leaves has passed at this soothing spot of Ooyama, so please visit as soon as you can! ※Sunset comes early, so if you aim for the mountaintop, start early in the morning and allow plenty of time. Photographed 12/3/24. After the Tori no Ichi market at Kawagoe Kumano Shrine, we visited Tatsumi of Udon noodles. Kitsune Udon noodles and Toriten. It's refreshing and delicious.

Today, I took a walk in Kawagoe. On the approach to the temple to Kawagoe Hachimangu Shrine, pigeons were eating rice. Squid is a messenger of God, so it may be very auspicious. 🕊️🌾

On the first day of the Kawagoe Festival Held in on October 19, I took a picture of a round post in Confectionery Yokocho It was as if Post was the owner of a Stalls shop, and had a different atmosphere than usual, and I was attracted to the world view that can only be experienced at the Kawagoe Festival.

Autumn at Ooyama 2024: Autumn Leaves Update 🍁 11/28 As of yesterday, Wednesday, November 27, the autumn foliage is at its peak. Oyama Temple and Ooyama Afuri Shrine Lower Shrine look as pictured. The Ooyama Autumn Foliage Light-up and the OyamaCableCar night operation (weekdays until 19:00, weekends and holidays until 20:00) run through Sunday, December 1. Enjoy a magically different atmosphere from daytime, the spectacular night view from about 700 m that earned two stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan, and the beautiful autumn leaves together. Don’t miss the Masu Tiramisu at the scenic cafe Saryo Sekison.
