Shinyu Onsen L.P. has launched "Suwa Taisha Navi," an on-site experiential app for foreign visitors and domestic tourists. The app supports English, Traditional Chinese, French, and Japanese, and introduces points of interest at the four Suwa Taisha shrines (Honmiya, Maemiya, Harumiya, and Akimiya). The navigator is Suwahime, the official character of Suwa City, who introduces 84 monuments and structures across the four shrines. Download the app, enable GPS (or allow location services), and open it when you visit any of the four Suwa Taisha shrines. When you approach a site, Suwahime's audio explanation will play; sites where you've heard the explanation will be marked with a folding-fan icon. Isehara Halloween 2024 — Held in light rain; canceled in severe weather Isehara Halloween 2024, organized by the Isehara City Merchant Association Federation, will take place on Sunday, October 27, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Come in costume and say "Trick or Treat" to staff at participating shops to receive sweets (while supplies last). There will be face art, a fortune-telling corner, retail booths, and game booths—plenty of variety to keep the excitement high!
