When I visited the Kasama Chrysanthemum Festival, I photographed the charming pairing of the fox statues at Kasama Inari Shrine with the splendid chrysanthemums. Kasama is a town known for pottery, but cafe hopping is fun too.

The autumn in Urabandai, Fukushima is amazing. I took this photo during a figgy day near lake Hibara. The small island inside the lake also full of autum colors which makes the frame more beautiful. Mist, autumn colors and lake, these are all what i can even imagined. It was so exciting and eye-shoothing. After thus trip I was really refreshed and energized again.

Summer Spirit Abduction This is a photo of a shrine in Shimosoga, Odawara. People say it feels like a scene from a Studio Ghibli film. It's best visited in summer.

Autumn leaves at Yujaku Park ❚ Foliage status as of November 12, 2025 Yujaku Park in Asaji Town, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture This park is one of Oita Prefecture’s representative autumn foliage spots. Overall, about 30–40% of the leaves have changed color. The area around Shinji Pond is starting to turn first. Areas around Tanji Pond and places farther from the ponds are still mostly green, but the mix of green and red now creates a beautiful gradient of leaves. During the Yujaku Tourism Momiji Festival, local residents sell kusamochi (herb rice cakes) and other treats. If you see them, try one. We will update the foliage status as it changes. Please note that the Yujaku Park light-up follows a fixed schedule. Some paths are dark at night, so we recommend bringing a flashlight. On the 15th, Yujaku Night Kagura Suikyo will take place, and Yujaku Park Parking will be unavailable for certain hours. I finally went to photograph the cosmos I'd wanted to shoot for so long! At 138 Tower Park in Kiso Sansen Park. Bees flitted madly among the cosmos swaying in the wind. I captured the beauty of life living to nature's rhythm.

Isehara City Autumn Foliage Report Here is an update on the city’s autumn colors for today, November 12. The ginkgo-lined avenue beside Isehara City General Sports Park has started to turn a beautiful yellow. Some sections are still green, so it will take a little longer for the entire row to turn yellow. Autumn colors on Ooyama are progressing gradually, but peak viewing appears to be still ahead. About 70% of the trees have changed color, and it is at its peak viewing time. This spot is not widely known, so you can enjoy the foliage quietly during the day. The light-up runs until November 15. October 25, 2025 Nagano City Kinasa Okususobana Nature Garden I wandered through the park to enjoy the autumn leaves. The forest stretched as far as I could see, dyed in fall colors. Several ponds and wetlands dot the area. On this day I was especially drawn to Yoshiike, a breeding site for the black salamander and the forest green tree frog. Leaves sank into the pond while reflections added depth to the scene.

Autumn had quietly arrived at the neighborhood park before I noticed. I discovered it during a walk.

Daimon Kinoshita Exhibition in Teshikaga The Daimon Kinoshita Exhibition is now on display in the lobby of Teshikaga Town Public Hall. A miniature version of Setta no Surioto, which is exhibited at the Guimet Museum (Musée national des arts asiatiques-Guimet) in France, is being shown and unveiled in Teshikaga for the first time. (The original measures 3 m by 12 m.) Exhibition hours: 9:00–21:00 Period: Now through November 25, 2025 Please take this opportunity to come and see it.

The Wakasa Kuniyoshi Castle History Museum is hosting a Night Museum again this year! From Saturday, November 22 to Sunday, November 30, the museum will be open from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM with the autumn leaves illuminated. The nighttime view of the illuminated leaves from Kyū-Tanabe Handaifu-ke Zashiki is spectacular. A commemorative castle seal for the event will be sold during the period (300 yen). Please join us.
