SAMURAIHONOR
Nov. 27, 2024
In addition to scenery and food that can only be seen and eaten in Japan, calligraphy, a traditional culture that can only be experienced in Japan, is one such example. When providing services to foreigners visiting Japan in the form of experience tourism, we are conscious of "learning" that leads to cultural understanding, such as deepening understanding of the history of calligraphy in Japan and conveying the meaning behind each kanji character.

Hidden inn of the four seasons Fujinoyu

Free private bath and in-room meals. A Adult Hot Spring inn to know gastronomy and taste.
A small hot spring inn with a total of 8 rooms tucked away in the historic Asama Hot Spring. It is a inn related to the Matsumoto Castle Lord, and there is a calm Japanese space and an old-fashioned Japan inn here, where the hem received from the prince, the armor and old swords of the Edo period, and the antiquities that hide the history are exhibited. In the special room Minamoto there is a semi-open-air bath with a flowing spring, and you can relax and enjoy the Hot Spring to your heart's content. Meals in the morning and evening are served in your room. There is also a free tatami mat private bath with a Minamoto spring flowing from the source. I want to taste the historic hot springs to my heart's content.
In addition, guests will be greeted by items that convey the history that lives in this area, such as items from the collection of Matsumoto Castle, which is a symbol of Matsumoto, and works of art that have been collected for generations.

Traveling Yukimichi Bookshop Wednesday, November 20 The space called Pom Yukimichi Bookshop from Shimokawa Town arrived carrying many books. In Nishiokoppe Village, a certain private house has been opened as a third place. That place is Pom. It is located between the village office and Kikuchi Store. In a room at Pom, where a wall is covered with bookshelves, the traveling Yukimichi Bookshop opened. Books filled the desks, and I stared at the covers and flipped through pages at random. On display were picture books and children’s books, maps of the world, books about plants, blue books, and more. Other visitors came by, and it was fun to watch them compare books and wonder which to buy. Next to the room for browsing books, people from Pom and the community laid out shared snacks and we relaxed while eating. The next visit is scheduled for Friday, December 20. They might bring Christmas books. Thank you to Yukimichi Bookshop and everyone who came to meet the books. #Nishiokoppe Village #Hokkaido #Yukimichi Bookshop #Shimokawa Town #Bookstore #Traveling shop #Pom #Shared snacks #November 20 #Record #Next time: December 20

Autumn leaves in Kyorinbo 2023.12.02 The bright red carpet was beautiful. It is said to have been founded by Prince Shotoku in 605 AD, and was named "Kyorinbo" because he preached in a place surrounded by forests. The Kannon-sama of the Honzon is also made by Prince Shotoku, and is called Akagawa Kannon, and has gathered faith that difficult wishes can be fulfilled if you visit twice. In addition, the Garden that spreads out in the Precincts is said to be the work of Enshu Kobori, and the exciting Momoyama period scenic Garden with a series of mossy boulders, together with the thatched Shoin (early Edo, city-designated cultural property), creates the atmosphere of a hidden village of wabi-sabi. In late autumn, the approximately 300 old trees with Autumn leaves that fill the 2,000 tsubo Precincts are dyed bright red, and the contrast with the thousands of bamboo trees surrounding them fascinates visitors. Held in Autumn leaves Light up is also held from November 15 to December 5 every year.

-Nakasendo / Tsumago juku Cultural and Political Procession (2)- November 23 is the busiest day ✨ of the year for Tsumago juku Lunch break is rice balls 🍙 wrapped in bamboo skin It's also a photo opportunity to see them eating! I wonder if 💭 they used to bring rice balls like this and eat them on the go There are people who are handing out large pieces of paper, which are called "Kawaraban" and are like newspapers from the Edo period. It is said 💭 that they were selling at that time in order to inform the common people of urgent news
