Shintoku Town is a town with a population of 5,518 (as of the end of March 2022 (Reiwa 4)) in the middle of Hokkaido. Access from popular tourist spots in Hokkaido is also outstanding. JR Shintoku Station is served by 22 limited express trains a day, about 2 hours from Sapporo, about 1 hour and 45 minutes from New Chitose Airport, about 30 minutes from Tomamu, about 30 minutes from Obihiro, and about 1 hour and 50 minutes from Kushiro.
