In consideration of environmental conservation, there are no stairs or handrails on the slope to the viewpoint. It is slippery due to the pile of fallen leaves, so please be careful under your feet.

Did you know that the Cycling Road connecting Toma Komaki and Lake Shikotsu was once run by the Oji Light Railway, which was Nickname called the "Mountain Line"? "Tarumae Garo" is located in the western part of Toma Komaki City. Garrow means "a place where a river streams between cliffs" in the Tohoku region. As the name suggests, it is precipitous on both sides and covered with velvety moss.

"Gallow" means "a place where a river streams between narrow sheer cliffs." In early summer, Toma Komaki is often covered with thick fog. Although it is inconvenient due to poor visibility and difficulty drying laundry, you can see a fantastic scenery where the night lights appear dimly hazy.

On June 12, a Shinto ritual was held at the summit of Mt. Mt. Tarumae to pray for safety. The newly installed signboard was also accompanied by an explanation in English. Mt. Tarumae has an elevation of 1041m and is said to be a relatively easy mountain to climb. Some climbers wear sandals, thin-soled sneakers, and short-sleeved and short-pants, but it is recommended to wear trekking shoes and a windbreaker. (The Mountain Trail is slippery with pumice stones ejected during the eruption, and strong winds are always blowing at the summit)
