Photographed 9/15/24. Prayer at Kawagoe Kumano Shrine. It is a circle of nagi using the nagi of the sacred tree of Kumano. It is the same as the circle of Kaya no Rinokuguri and cleanses impurities. Benefit is said to be good luck, protection from disaster, and peace and safety.

【Takamuro Shrine Annual Grand Festival】 On Sunday, September 15, 2024, the Annual Grand Festival was held at Takamuro Shrine (2202 Shimosuya, Isehara City). Starting with the "beach sand sprinkling" in which the sand collected at the Shio-汲mi Shinto ritual held on the Terugasaki Coast of Oiso is used as a substitute for cleansing salt, it was lively and Gari in the heat!

Today, I attended the Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine Monthly Festival. This is the Otorii Gate. The annual festival of Yawata Shrine in the Precincts was also held.

【Takamuro Shrine Annual Grand Festival】 Annual Grand Festival is held in at Takamuro Shrine (2202 Shimosuya, Isehara City). Yoimiya: Saturday, September 14, 2024 Annual Grand Festival: Sunday, September 15, 2024 On September 7th, the "Shiosumi Shinto ritual" was held to collect beach sand, seawater, and hondawara (seaweed) used for the Annual Grand Festival to Terugasaki in Oiso Towns. The beach sand brought back is sprinkled around the shrine as a substitute for cleansing salt at the Annual Grand Festival "Beach Sand Sprinkling Ceremony", seaweed is displayed on the pouring rope of the Torii (shrine gate), and seawater is used to pray for fire protection. Takekoma Shrine in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, one of the three major inari shrines in Japan Every year from July ~ the end of August, the "Summer Festival" is Held in, and in 2024, many glass wind chime were displayed in the Precincts approach to the temple. I'm looking forward to next year.
