I took the Enoden from Kamakura Station and walked around Enoshima. At the end of the day, be impressed by the view of the Shonan Sea dyed in the sunset and Mt. Fuji! Nearby beaches such as Shichirigahama and Yuigahama are crowded with surfers, and many people are equipped with hooks to hook surfboards on bicycles and scooters. I got a train on Enoshima Electric Railway from Kamakura and walked around Enoshima island. At end of the day, you can enjoy beautiful twilight sight of Mt. Fuji and sea of Shounan (Southern Kanagawa). Many people enjoy surfing at Shichirigahama or Yuigahama beach and they equip luggage hook on their bicycle or scooter.

Today the weather was better than the forecast and we could see the blue sky, so we went there on our bikes! Although there were many clouds, I could 🤩 see the Hidaka Mountains and the Tokachi Plain. You can see balloons in the early morning, and it is also a ✨ beautiful spot for sunsets. From Tokachigawa Onsen Town About 5 minutes by car and about 15 minutes by bicycle. 【Volunteer Guide】 Period: July 1 (Sat) ~ September 30 (Sat) Time: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 10:00~15:00 * Canceled on rainy or high temperature (30 degrees Celsius or higher) days * No drinks will be provided.

Otofuke ran the melody line! However, it does not mean that music is played. (I thought 😊 so at first.) It is the name of the town road connecting Tokachigawa Onsen and the city of Otofuke, and is named after the "sound" of "Otofuke". There are many lovely scenery, such as the Otofuke countryside, the straight road leading to the mountain range, and the sunflower fields in autumn. With a total length of about 15 km, it is a very pleasant road to drive or cycle! There are ups and downs, so electric assist is recommended for bicycles. The Tourism Association offers assisted bicycles! Please run ♬ the Otofuke melody line. ⛔ Please do not enter the fields.

The morning sun shines from the fresh green of spring... Mt. Rokko in Kobe has been redressed! !! The photo is a morning scene taken near the ridge of the Omote Rokko Driveway in mid-April. I climbed the hill on a road bike, but it was a pleasant cycling that felt moderately sweaty (I climbed slowly). Mt. Rokko was opened as a leisure mountain by foreigners in the Meiji era, and Arthur Herkes Groom, who built the first mountain villa, is called the "founder of Mt. Rokko." The first mountain villa was built at a place called Mikuni Pond after climbing the driveway in the photo to the ridge. From there, foreigners and Japan people built mountain villas one after another, forming a village. It seems that there are no mountain villas left from that time now, but you can still see many recreation centers of various companies in the vicinity. Even if you actually climb on a road bike, you can meet foxes, raccoons, woodpeckers, squirrels, moles and monkeys, and you can feel that you have come to nature in a different world from the city. How about 😊 forest bathing for a mental retreat this spring?

Nayoro Sightseeing & Town Planning Association
Apr. 17, 2023
It is the "Nayoro Sightseeing & Town Planning Association" of Nayoro City, Hokkaido. Nayoro City is located in the northern part of Hokkaido and is known as a production area for glutinous rice, which boasts the largest acreage in Japan, and asparagus, which boasts one of the largest yields in Hokkaido. Since it is located in the north of Hokkaido, where the cold is severe, the temperature is low throughout the year, especially the average temperature in January -8.6°C and the average temperature in February is -14.9°C, which is the lowest among Japanese cities. At the dawn of the cold winter season, the water vapor in the air freezes into small ice crystals, and you can see the fantastic scenery "diamond dust" that glitters in the sun. You can also experience the Sun Pillar, where the reflection of the diamond dust light looks like a pillar, in Nayoro City. We will introduce the highlights, sightseeing spots, popular gourmet food, etc. of Nayoro Town at once. First of all, I would like to introduce the "Nayoro City North Country Museum". The Nayoro City Hokugoku Museum is a facility created for the purpose of learning about the natural environment and culture of northern countries and connecting them to the future. At the "Kamui Forest" corner, you can learn about the nature and culture of the Ainu. In addition, in front of the North Country Museum, the SL snow removal train "Kimaroki" is on display, so please take a look. Next, I would like to introduce "Nayoro Park". The park is surrounded by a forest that combines primeval and artificial forests, and the cherry blossoms in the park bloom in late May, attracting many cherry blossom viewers. There is also a park golf course, tennis field, and baseball field in the park, making it a facility that everyone from adults to children can enjoy. The last place I would like to introduce is "Hokkaido Sun Pillar Park". Seasonal flowers bloom in the park, and the sunflower field in summer was used as a filming location for the movie "Star Guarding Dog" released in 2011, and gained popularity. There is an auto campsite, and it is also a base for bikers who enjoy sightseeing in Hokkaido. There are many other recommended spots such as "Nayoro City Astronomical Observatory Kitasubaru", "Nayoro Piyasiri Ski Resort", and "Mt. Piyashiri". When you come to Nayoro City, please enjoy the famous products as well as sightseeing spots. Nayoro City is a thriving agricultural area where glutinous rice, glutinous rice, asparagus, pumpkin, sweet corn, etc. are produced. Please enjoy nutritious vegetables grown in nature. These specialties of Nayoro City can be purchased at the roadside station "Glutinous Rice Village Nayoro". Access to Nayoro City is about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from Asahikawa City, and about 2 hours and 45 minutes by car from Sapporo City. We will continue to regularly disseminate information that will make you want to visit Nayoro Town, which is full of attractions, so thank you.
