The Chitose Lake Kotsu Ice Festival will be 📅held on January 28~February 23, 2023 Shikotsu-Toya National Park, about 40 minutes by car from Sapporo. The ice sculptures lining the venue are created by spraying and freezing the water of Lake Shikotsu, one of the largest in Japan. Kids are popular with the ice slides, the skating rink where you can run with long boots, and the riding experience around the venue. During the Snow Festival, on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, about 300 fireworks will be fired from 6:30 p.m. to depict the night sky, as well as Japanese taiko drumming performances. Hurry up and arrange a trip to play in Hokkaido~ In the evening, we recommend staying at Sapporo Kinyutei to enjoy your own vacation!

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce Came.ll4's post "Tsuruga Castle in Fukushima Prefecture". The white exterior wall with snow shines even more beautifully. Tsurugajo Castle, located in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, is a historic castle that was designated as a national historic site in 1934. It is also called Wakamatsu Castle or Aizuwakamatsu Castle. Tsuruga Castle has a long history, built about 630 years ago in 1384. After that, it was damaged by a large earthquake, so it underwent a large-scale renovation and was restored to its current appearance. Tsuruga Castle, which is also a symbol of Aizuwakamatsu City, is full of attractions. The red-tiled castle tower is said to be the only castle in Japan that can only be seen at Tsuruga Castle. In addition, the "Tsurugajo Castle Museum" in the castle tower holds various special exhibitions. There is an observation room on the 5th floor of the top, where you can enjoy a superb view of Aizu 360 degrees. At the Tsurugajo Hall at the entrance of the castle, souvenirs and folk crafts are sold, and meals such as local dishes such as wappa rice, sauce katsudon, and Kitakata ramen are also recommended. ◆Tsurugajo◆ 【Address】〒965-0873 Fukushima Prefecture, Aizuwakamatsu City, Ote-cho 1-1 【Access】 → Tokyo Station (Tohoku Shinkansen / 90 minutes) → Koriyama Station Transfer (Banetsu West Line / 60 minutes) → get off at Aizuwakamatsu Station 【Parking lot】Available 360 passenger cars (charged) (Tsurugajo Nishidemaru Parking Lot, Tsurugajo South Exit Parking Lot, Tsurugajo East Exit Parking Lot)

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce "mihyaru" post "At the Snow Festival in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture". The high-quality Amabie snow sculpture is an impressive photo. The Iyama Snow Festival is a snow festival held in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture in mid-February every year. Huge snow sculptures are lined up in the city, and it is an event that represents winter in Iiyama City, which is crowded with many visitors every year. Shinanodaira in Iiyama City is one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Japan. The Iyama Snow Festival was started in 1983 with the desire of local youth to revitalize the region by viewing snow, which is a burden on citizens, as a resource. During the event, various events such as restaurants, snow sculpture contests, and photo contests with the theme of the Iyama Snow Festival will also be held. In addition, at the same time as the Iyama Snow Festival, "Kamakura no Sato" and "Kamakura Festival" are also held. ◆Iyama Snow Festival◆ 【Date】Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12, 2023 【Venue】Iiyama City Cultural Exchange Center Nachura (tentative) Please check the official website for details.

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce "Tatsumi's post "Togakushi Shrine Okusha Sando in Nagano Prefecture". The cedars lined up at both ends are a powerful photo. Togakushi Shrine, located at the foot of Mount Togakushi in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, is a shrine dedicated to the gods associated with the "Ten-iwa Tokai Opening Myth". It consists of five shrines, Okusha, Chūsha, Hokosha, Kuzuryusha, and Hinomikosha, and has a history of more than 2,000 years since its founding. Among the five shrines, Okusha has the most worshippers. It is also famous for the way from Nakasha to Okusha with more than 200 huge cedar trees. The cedar avenue, which is more than 400 years old, has been designated as a natural monument of Nagano Prefecture. Okusha seems to have benefits such as good luck, fulfillment of wishes, and must-win sports. Togakushi Shrine is said to be one of the three major power spots in Kita Shinano, and one of the attractions is the "Five Shrines Tour" that visits all five shrines. If you complete the worship and the awarding of the red seal, you will receive a "commemorative bookmark for visiting the five shrines" at the awarding office. ◆Togakushi Shrine◆ 【Address】〒381-4193 Nagano Prefecture, Nagano City, Togakushi 【Access】 From Nagano Station Bus Stop No. 7 (in front of the Alpico Kotsu Bus Nagano Station General Information Center), take the "bound for Togakushi Kogen via Loop Bridge" (about 1 hour) Hokosha: Get off at Togakushi Hokosha Nakasha: Get off at Togakushi Chusha Okusha: Get off at the entrance of Togakushi Okusha Please check the official website for details.

At 4-chome STV Square, 5-chome Doshin Snow Plaza, 7-chome HBC Poland Square, 8-chome Snow HTB Square, and 9-chome Civic Square, large snow sculptures of about 10 meters have been erected, and you can enjoy a snow and video show using projection mapping. At the "6-chome Citizens' Plaza", the "Hokkaido Food Plaza" is held where popular Hokkaido gourmet foods gather, and you can enjoy the attractive food of Hokkaido with stalls such as ramen, seafood dishes, and meat dishes. 【Susukino Venue】 The Susukino venue is held under the theme of "enjoying ice" and a number of fantastic ice sculptures are lined up. It is "Yokote kamakura" in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture. "Kamakura" is a small New Year's event dedicated to the god of water, and children among the kamakura shout "Enter! They talk to tourists and treat them with mochi and amazake.
This photo is from the "Kamakura" photo session venue, but the best position was super full and I regretted being late, but if I dared to take it from a position where no one was looking, I was able to take a really nice photo and I was very satisfied with the "Kamakura" photo.
